I think we should start rating and reviewing the individual episodes in order to counteract the haters. This show has barely aired 6 episodes on Viki & 8 on WeTV VIP and they are rating it negatively. WTH 🤷🏻♀️ Go watch something else if you don't like XK & YSX. We are loving this CP because they're genuinely good.

Hmmm, but I think it isn't going to be that simple. I mean, sure that is what Maiming wants, to lift the curse but I think in this story Bian Luohan is also sitting on a ticking clock. The mystery is pretty good. However, some people are judging the show by watching just a few episodes. Give the show a chance to reveal it's plotline. I wish people would at least wait for all the episodes to air before writing reviews.
I am only on episode 1 but I can already tell he has more than brotherly feelings for her, just look at his reactions…
I love subtle acting. Jin Zhao doesn't want to admit his feelings and also because the show has just begun. So they're gonna keep it like that until the first major twist in the plot. Xu Kai's acting😍😍 Everything from his facial expressions to the fight scenes are 10/10. 🤩👌 And even Yu Shu Xin's childish behaviour is so on point. She's supposed to make us feel that the character 'Yu Qi' is as innocent as a child. And she does that very convincingly 🥰🥰
Hey guys, here are a few important plot points of the show. SPOILER ALERT:
1) Yu Qi & Yu Jin Zhao woke up with each other but without their memories of how they got into this world. 2) Jin Zhao is obviously protective towards Qi cuz' of her innocence and straightforward behaviour. 3) Qi relies on Jin Zhao so much that he's family to her. He's just there. The relationship between them is very sibling-ish right now cuz' they both are in a similar situation. 4) Wan Peng pretends to be the 'Young Master' of her clan & her brother cross dresses as a girl in order to keep the 'Curse' that both of them carry, a secret. Wan Peng's clock's ticking real fast and she's going to die soon. 5) Xian Xing is the Fox Beast who shared his demonic powers to extend Wan Peng's life when she was a child. 6) Ming Xu travels with Xian Xing. All the characters meet at the desert where they battle with a gigantic scorpion monster. 7) Physician Bian agrees to treat the wounded when the group arrives at Luori Village. However, Qi feels that she knows him from before. When she mentions this to Jin Zhao, he feels uncomfortable and is on alert.
Cliffhanger at Episode 4 and my questions which I believe will be answered in due course as the drama proceeds
1) Why did Jin Zhao & Qi wake up together? Why is he so protective towards her? 2) Physician Bian is obviously Qi's master but why did he send her without her memories into this world? 3) Who is Jin Zhao exactly? If he's just a duplicate, then what is his purpose after Qi regains her memories? Will he be destroyed?

Review of First Episode - The prequel began with just the right amount of intrigue and soon transitions into the current timeline of the story. Our main characters YJZ & YQ are introduced, their relationship and the world that they currently live in. The playful banter between them was so cute and yet interesting to watch. I was laughing all the way. Also, one of the secondary characters was introduced rather well, and seamlessly woven in with the MCs. In short, a beautifully executed episode. I'm so happy right now. 😊😍 Waiting for more. 🤞❤️
(P.S. I'm afraid Yu Jin Zhao and Physician Bian will have to starve forever. Yu Qi has a bottomless appetite and she's a glutton. Please offer to feed him first Miss Yu Qi, the next time 😭🤣)
