Exactly, I always wonder why the need to ask about what has been explained already by the characters. Are people not paying attention?? If I don't understand something, I rewind to listen again. Sigh.

It's fine though, everyone is different and we also have different levels of patience and understanding.

So, how are you going to understand the rest of the story if you skip the Ming Ye arc? It's going to go on for like 2 or 3 more episodes. It is vital to the progress of the story. If you eventually don't drop it, you'll probably now be one of the many people repeatedly asking for unnecessary explanations, "how did this/that happen?" "When and how did Li Susu get the 9 nails?" "When and how did TTJ start having feelings?" etc.
Sigh.

I have also become frustrated with the repeat questions and clarifications. I want to suggest if someone can put it in the discussions so that people can check it out if they are confused instead of repeatedly answering the same questions.
Please, someone that has read the story and can explain clearly. Thank you very much, we would really appreciate it and it would save a lot of trouble.

He wasn't telling her to stop actually, it was her tone and manner of speaking to her father that he didn't want her to continue doing. Yes, you can tell your parents what they did wrong, but you don't have to judge them. She could have told her father in a nicer way.

I am not excusing what her father did, but he is still her father and should be accorded the respect. That is what LC was trying to tell her when he shook his head "Don't talk to your father like that". He stood there for a long while before interfering when she spoke about her father's character.

Yes, it is fantasy. But not fantasy based on the modern world which we live in. If it was modern, you could consider an 18 year old a teenager. You can call it xianxia/fantasy all you like but since they chose to model it according to the old ways, it is STILL historical.

And, you're at episode 10 and still think she's acting like a 12 year old????? We are probably not watching the same drama. Her maturity shines through in episode 10, she helped YQ face his fears and achieve the perfect celestial body, what level of maturity do you want again?

Sigh, you just started it and without giving the characters a chance, you wrote it off. I don't know how you judge dramas, but coming to this page, seeing the ratings and the amount of comments should give you a hint about how good the drama is. And also, the FL is 18 years old, in historical drama perspective, a good enough age to get married.

I don't know how many episodes you've seen, but judging by what you said, probably less than 5.
If you don't like it, all the best. There are other dramas out there.

This drama is not for you then since you find it boring. Most of us are enjoying it though. No qualms, there are other dramas out there you can enjoy.

And Haidong, I felt so sad for him in today's episode. He missed out a lot and hasn't been able to move on, he is such a great friend. MXS, the one that got away. It's a lesson to us all to get our priorities straight early in life so as not to be left behind.
