When it finally aired, i was so excited. I watched the first six episodes on the first day, I truly liked it, then I came to MDL comment section [sigh] the comments honestly dampened my enthusiasm for a few days, goes to show how much word of mouth affects us humans so much. I resumed with episode 7 to 12 today and I was asking myself "why did I stop watching this, it's still so interesting to me" Even with the fact that I've read the novel, I knew what would happen. The story was still touching, I even like that I hated that stupid Prince Ning.

To conclude, please watch the drama if you want to, judge it by your own standards and ignore the people that say it's bad. Even the FL's acting is not bad at all. She has gotten much better.

I think most people are being too hard on the FL, let's remember that she doesn’t know what we know [that Prince Ning is bad news] she thought he was her friend and wanted to help. How many of you wouldn't welcome a friendly face in times of tribulation? Is she a mind reader? Even in the heavenly realm, her job was just to match couples not write their fates. Rather than using the word "Dumb", I would rather say she was naive and took people at face value. Even in the novel, she went back voluntarily and decided to marry the prince as well thinking it would save her parents. Everything that has happened so far apart from a few deviations [like the stone goblin and LCK's cousin] has happened according to what was written by the author. I believe even the deviations will come full circle eventually.
