I kind of miss that too!

The ML and FL character for some reason reminds me of Kwok Jing and Huang Rong from Condor Heroes. ML is innocent and righteous. FL is smart and cunning. Liking it so far. Hope it keeps getting better. I was kind of skeptical because of FL, but so far the character seem to suit her better than other roles she had played before.

Omg, both Sword and Fairies release same day. One from iqiyi and the other from tencent. Talk about going head to head. One has Chen Zheyuan the other Esther Yu. I think I have to watch both.

I may have missed it since I skipped around. Can someone tell me what happened to ML assistant? Is he still alive? Thanks

Yes, I feel like the series could have gone a different direction and made it on the bromance and friendship of ML and the crown prince and more serious on investigation. It could still have comedic moments without the FL and the empahsis on the love story. I liked the scenes and the crown prince and ML together. Also ML assistant. The character of the FL was just not likable through the whole thing. To be honest I had to skip through alot of the FL scenes. It was just too redundant and to be too much filler to me.

I kinda feel the same. I don't get it either. I'm not sure if I can continue watching. I feel the ML did nothing wrong and yet he seem to be taking the blame on himself.

They have it on Linmon Youtube channel Eng subs. I guess this is another joint publication. The same thing happened with A Journey To Love and it was with Linmon. I hope people are not rating it low because of this. It not fair to the people who worked on the drama. It is also on Viki

His voice is very suitable for his character too. I only seen ep1. I went into this without expectation but surprisingly liking it a lot right now.

i just started this, and while I know it will probably sweet later on, I'm a bit confused and annoyed how the FL can put the blame on ML for rejecting her. She has had a crush on him for a long time, but she never revealed until her friend got married. If she liked him, she shouldn't have him chase after her friend and sabotaging it to begin with. Also, the reasons she stated in the beginning why she likes him is not enough. It's so superficial so of course he would have doubts of her sincerity. I'm on ep 7 and I feel this is all totally the FL issue not the ML. She can't abruptly say I like you and my friend is now married with no foundation and also to force a kiss on him. The issue about filming her book on the other hand, that's business so I'm ok if she needed to take it somewhere else. But I will say the drama is still watchable, just some scenes are not always reasonable.

The song was good and came at the right moments. I was just a bit surprised to hear English in a supposedly costume series since it's suppose to be ancient times.

So crown prince brother won't end up liking her, right? Also, the crown prince kind personality is he unable to fight?

I don't understand what is meant by he feels pain? Can you please explain? I didn't read the webtoon so just trying to understand the story better. Thanks

I agree about Ji Hoon. I hope he gets more lead roles and be in more series. I was curious how he would play this role with his baby face, but he is doing great playing the split personality so far.

Watching for Zhai Zi Lu. Liked his recent We Go Fast series. I feel like he has good potentialhope he get to be in more and more high profile series in the future. Not a fan of the FL character right now. I really hope she grows up soon. While this seem to be a comedy and not that serious, the amount of things she get away with without any conscience is stretching this too much. Also, I feel like the guy she likes doesn't like her in that way, he just respects her since he is a scholar. She is definitely spoiled which is probably why she is oblivious to a lot of things.
