There was a lot of foreshadowing in the dialogues about possible tragedies. I was so hoping that it was the writer just trying to mislead us and it not to be true...

I think it might have meant to show his breaking point and meltdown. When you have reached a point of heartache, you can't control it. It is actually better to scream it out than to hold it in. Usually though some ppl may do it in private. But it also could be he was hurting too much he didn't care if anyone saw him.

I feel like if there are any survivors in this series, it would be Ruyi and YY

I think this is breakthrough role for her!

They had to look at the bigger picture otherwise all their efforts until now would have been in vain. Besides NYZ did attempt to go back to save Ying. So she was not abandoned. She is smart, I feel like she will survive on her own. She already proved she is smarter and better than the current Wu emperor. Also for the sake of his master, LTG won't let anything happen to her.

I think because Chu Yue is probably naive and innocent about love relationshis thus probably why Shisan treat her different from past ladies he was with. He know his track record and he doesn't want to hurt her, but at the same time attracted to her fiery personality. I feel if LTG wasn't obsessed with Ruyi, he and Chu Yue might have had a chance to end up together.

I thought Ruyi blood should have help him get rid of all the poison. I think it would make more sense if it's his old injuries, but who knows.

Appearance of the ghost king is the best part so far. I do like Rosy Zhao in this one. Just wish Wang Anyu character was written better.

I'm not ready if that is them. They were so much fun. I'm hoping maybe it's the 3 comrades bodies that they found that went with the emperor Wu. But I think that probability might be low. They make us fall in love with the characters just to break our hearts. At least hope the main leads end up together.

She sweet, kind and soft, but once she's pissed she turn a different vibe. Loving it. I really hope that king doesn't make it back. At this point, I feel even if he can go back to Wu, he won't keep his woed and write the clearing edict. He mah even want to kill Ning and everyone that helped him escape. I don't understand why Ning won't just have the new king reinvestigate the case and write the edict. Since at this point this emperor Wu is def not worth tbem risking their lives to save. He is not trustworthy

I agree on this. The chinese version tend to have more realistic cast as in they are there to find love. It doesn't feel too intentional or scripted. But I'm still watching the show since it is fun to watch and I love reality dating shows in general.

Is there a love triangle? As in Hong Yi likes A Yin first? I want to watch for the second couple but I don't like that type of love triangle.

I love whenever FFB would ask Xiao Yao" who do you want me to be?" While she never answers I feel like in her heart she wanted him to be and know he is Xiang Liu. For novel readers does he say the same line multiple times in the novel? And is there any meaning behind it?

It can be watched without watching the prequel. It is also much better and more worth watching than the prequel imo.
