This is one of my favourite dramas standing alongside the likes of Goblin, Mr Sunshine, Hotel De Luna, and Tale of the Nine Tailed. The sound track has many great tracks including the instrumentals and I seriously recommend this to anyone looking for a fantasy romance drama.
Just finished the last ep and I really really enjoyed this! It's been a while since I watched k dramas so this…
I think the ML chose to do exile himself because he's afraid of his zombie instincts inevitably harming those close to him.
Just because he lives in the forest doesn't mean he's completely isolated from society. I'm guessing he still occasionally sneaks into Gangrim for supplies (clothes, chicken, etc) and happened to see the poster.
There was originally a Romance tag for this drama. I think that the show heavily sets up an arc for the next season with the murder at the party and the doctor. I'm assuming that the murder will be the catalyst for them working together with the main overarching arc of a possible S2 being that they try to find the doctor. I don't think they'll film in the US but rather, have some plot point about the doctor coming to Korea to investigate the latest zombie rumors in Gangrim and disappearing. If there were an actual S2, I think the romance would play a bigger part than it did this run.
Honestly, the ML is probably one of the most tragic leads I've encountered. The girl he was protecting was killed,…
The end shows that he's tracking this American scientist who is trying to turn zombies into humans. IMO it doesn't really make sense because that would mean that zombies are a pretty common phenomenon that people know about. Anyways, I think that's setup for a possible next season so theres at least some hope on that front!
Just started this and really liked Ep 1..Events move quickly, fast paced action, beautifully choreographed fights…
I love Angel's Last Mission too! It had a wonderful soundtrack (My favourites being Angel and Because of You) The soundtrack on this one has some pretty good tracks (Moonchild Ballad and Blue Moon) although there are only 3 parts out as of right now.
FL said she is a different person and not his first love to Lee yeon when he 1st kissed her. Also she doesn't…
I would say that there is a certain shock to seeing "you" die even if you know it's not you. Plus, the ML never made it clear how A Eum died other than the fact that she died in war (iirc). ML spoke fondly of A Eum when talking about their past memories so he painted the picture like he really cared for A Eum (which is probably still true) and only lost her due to external circumstances like a war (we now know he had to kill her to also kill Imoogi). ML technically lied by omission/not telling her the truth about what happened with his first love so maybe that's where the anger stems from?
I don't mind the piecemeal world building or slow reveal of the back story + big bad. Ep 5 is not so much filler…
I would also consider the fact that ML has practically lived in this world for his whole life whereas FL was just trying to find it (and just did). The things ML finds trivial are probably grand/big in FL's eyes.
I really liked the cinematography they used and their usage of the cloth sheets as curtains. It really brings a sense of him trying to chase her (the original one) through the many obstacles of life/reincarnation. I don't know if I made sense. The scene really reminds me of Mr Sunshine's cinematography.
I did not thought the Mc would killed/eat the kidnapper for real O_o ! I was really surprised... When I said he…
From what I understand, they didn't actually want to kill the girl. The ML came and the girl started panicking. Kidnapper kills ML and goes back to girl and I am guessing he puts her in some backpack/suitcase. The girl panics which breaks off the handle, leading to her fall into the water and her subsequent death. I'm assuming this because when they kidnapped FL, they were talking about the handle breaking and there was a cut back to the crime scene with a bag.
Just because he lives in the forest doesn't mean he's completely isolated from society. I'm guessing he still occasionally sneaks into Gangrim for supplies (clothes, chicken, etc) and happened to see the poster.
