it is possible and i think the same...
Good point. I don't remember Shin Joo saying that though. Do you remember the episode and time? I'm interested in rewatching that scene.

I dont think so, because they needed her to wake up Imoogi if they were reincarnation the past lives, they wouldnt…
Imoogi only got to the island in the 1950s alongside the residents (The little girl said something bad came to the island then and made all the other spirits leave but she couldn't because she was tied down) so I don't think he could've been revived earlier.

ah eum offered her body thinking lee yeon will save her and jiah only knows lee yeon said ah eum means nothing…
I agree. It feels like she is a different person from the one who jumped off a building to prove a point.

Me too! I really want to watch this drama in a higher resolution than what's available on Dramacool but both WeTV…
Nothing works in Myanmar. I can watch it on VIU but that only works on my phone and my specific telecom carrier so I can't watch on my PC.

I think if they actually make this the case and make this revelation later on, Yeon would be very hurt thinking about all those times he met her but ignored her because of the lack of fox bead. It would also tie in well with Ji Ah's lack of belief in destiny (one makes one's own path rather than having it be arbitrarily predetermined). Yeon relied on fate (the fox bead) to find Ah Eum whereas Ji Ah found him by her own path.

I think it's something that is indeed from the folklore but they put a modern twist on it by putting it in glasses form. The subtitles probably show a very rough translation of whatever it actually is so I don't think we can find anything unless an actually knowledgeable korean answers for us.

The glasses are called the Eyebrows of the Tiger or something similar to that.

Ji Ah also happened to know the emotions going through Ah Eum at the moment of her death: Ah Eum was worried for Yeon which actually confused Ji Ah. I do think Yeon actually loved Ah Eum and only said that he was using her to either:
a) Shock Imoogi from his sense of security (Imoogi is under the impression Yeon won't hurt him because he is inside Ah Eum) and make him panic which could grant Yeon an advantage in the fight
b) This one relies on Imoogi being in control of Ah Eum's body with Ah Eum's consciousness being trapped inside (so she can hear and see everything Imoogi does). Maybe Yeon said that to emotionally incite Ah Eum. Ah Eum's extreme sadness upon hearing that could maybe help her break loose from Imoogi's control

The funny thing is, the glass is supposed to only show who you were in your past life. Eg: Rang saw the kid was his dog, Kid saw FL's friends as their past selves and FL as presumably the Imoogi posessed self. I am assuming FL saw fragments of her past because either:
a) Her innate power as former wielder of the fox bead/Her destiny by the deities
b) The glass has the power to show fragments of YOUR own past if you look at yourself.

Also, in Episode 8, I remember her saying to herself at one point after the fight, "Yeon, I need you" although this may be in the E9 Preview (I don't remember exactly). So maybe she has sort of forgiven Yeon or at least wants to know more about what happened and knows that Yeon isn't telling her the full story.

So you also watch on piracy sites? Do you know of any that have good quality streams? The one on Dramacool is either 720 or 1080p but the colors (the blacks in the night scene) seem a bit crushed/compressed at times.

It's funny how the FL changes when she has fallen in love
I agree. They sort of dumbed her down a bit (she doesn't seem to be the same person from E1 who basically tricked Yeon into revealing his true powers). Hopefully, they do bring back more of her original personality but I don't mind the current Ji Ah either.

I didn't expect the BGM for this drama to be out already. Usually they only release them after the drama is over.…
I really like a lot of these. The Moonchild Ballad score version was phenomenal and so was the Parting at the River of Three Crossings. Gotta listen to the rest!

but people dont like that 10%.... almost everyone wants the ML to be heroic and larger than life... kdrama audience…
I mean if audiences liked it then the supply would follow the demand. So its merely just the production companies following audience demographics and preferences as it stands.

This is just a theory of mine so bear with me.

I think that all the Ah Eum dopplegangers that Yeon ran into throughout the centuries (Like in Joseon and Japanese Occupation) are all actually Ah Eum. I mean, if we look at Ji Ah, she initially didn't show the fox bead as a child but it appeared when she cried for Yeon (basically fell in love with him by that point). I think the deities made it that way so that Yeon doesn't fall in love with the reincarnations just because its Ah Eum but rather, because they're a different self.

its not the main focus so there isnt much of a romance...
Both FL and ML practically confessed at the restaurant though (E7). I do agree with you that it's not as emphasized.

I mean so far they have
1) Kissed
2) Watched movie
3) Walked in the rain
4) Drank beer
5) Other stuff that I don't remember

I do agree with you that it is packed quite tightly into the main plot. I would think the writers would build up more of the romance as we will have to see.

He knows his brother would die in this psychological test JiAh is smarter so he needed to go to him first.....
Now that you say it, I get why she would give the bead away. I still don't understand why she didn't tell Yeon immediately or even why Yeon didn't press her on what she gave away.

how's the romance?
I disagree with the other commenter. The romance is one of the main drivers of the plot. There is quite a bit of fluff in E5 but I liked it. It's pretty nice to watch.

Eh?

I would argue otherwise. Sure, this drama does have some elements of mystery, thriller, and horror but the main focus is the romance. It's quite evident even from the poster itself.
