episode 3 was woowww, I can't for episode 4 this was too goood

This was a pretty good season albeit I wish hyunsoo got more scenes that mainly just comes from the fact that I'm not a fan of multiple viewpoints.

Overall though what impresses me the most about this season is although I know it doesn't follow the manwha exactly, I was really expecting something completely different.

So it was a pleasant surprise that they managed to include scenes that actually link back to the manwha whilst creating a new storyline.

Even more so the ending just ties all the strings together and it's almost like next season will be like a sequel to the manwha considering the manwha closed on an open ending.

Really excited to see what happens next year, but the wait is gonna be long 😭

I watched the first 3 or so episodes but found it to be too cartoonish so I put it on hold, but then heard what happened in the last episode and decided to drop it. If the show was not a sequel to SWDBS and focused on the villain or even Namsoon's mother it would have been very interesting, especially considering they had more screentime than Namsoon herself. I am also very picky when it comes to villains redeeming themselves or getting a redemption arc but what I hate most is when villains deserve one but no one gives them a chance to do so. I don't know if it's because he took drugs and SK have deemed all those who take drugs regardless the reasons as criminals, but knowing he did all this to save himself and potentially others from the real evil drug monopolising organisation Pavel just makes his ending all the more unsatisfactory. I will not be finishing this show considering I know most of what has happened through TikTok anyways.

Although I'm not actively watching the show cause I'm waiting for all the episodes, I really don't know why people thought Woohak was Kiho??

I mean it was very obvious it was Boguel in my opinion, and I know it happens often and I'm one of those people where I understand if you're intended ML isn't Boguel and if you want to stop watching, but I find it really difficult to believe that you didn't see the signs pointing to Boguel being Kiho, especially considering all the times where Boguel mirrored actions Kiho did in the past.

I mean glasses come and go and just because someone wore glasses as a kid doesn't mean they'll wear it as an adult (and vice versa). Not to mention it wasn't like Mouse level disguise and misdirect, the production were giving hints as to who Kiho was from the beginning.

And personally I feel that based on all Mokha has been through Woohak is too energetic? I feel like Mokha needs someone who is more calm and Boguel fits that. I also find it a bit eye opening how everyone was only wanting Kiho to end up with Mokha but now that Kiho isn't the Kiho they wanted, now they want her to not end up with Kiho?? I personally don't care if Kiho wasn't Boguel or Wohhok, just based on what he did for her and what they went through he deserves her regardless of how he LOOKS (cause I know thats the real reason). Plus Boguel is very good looking as well, I mean I remember the edits of puppy boy from nevertheless.

If you still don't want to believe that Boguel is Kiho thats fine, denial happens to everyone 🤣

I think that's why I lost interest and gave up on it (i finished but def not watching s2), I like many others made the assumption at the start that it was a regular drama however as soon as they announced there would be a s2 I knew it was a makjang 😭, that's why it's a bit disappointing because the plot was actually really good

I guess tho that's the advantage of working as a police officer although it looks like he's devolving (getting more bloodthirsty and reckless) at least he can somewhat fact check beforehand, not to mention he usually sees them continue to commit crimes before he punishes them. I really just hope he doesn't hurt an innocent person

Tbh the plot was meh but it was so entertaining, I laughed the whole way through

I forgot yeah I tend to watch dramas really quickly and I read the transcripts sometime and i do skim through the scenes but I did watch all of it 😭

Although this was healing I cried all through,, but I love this so much definately recommend you to watch it if you're considering it

Had to rewatch it because I kept seeing people call Doona a red flag and I was confused like maybe ep 1 and 2 but afterwards she grew, not to mention I don't really count being depressed a red flag?

I actually agree with all your points especially AHS I like him as an actor but personally I have never seen him play characters that are ... more nuanced. He had his chance to maybe show that with his role as Li Ziwei but I just couldn't really get into it (maybe cause I love the original). Dokja is someone who goes through an array of complex emotions and thoughts, he makes you laugh, he confuses you, he definately makes you cry but most importantly we can really empathise with his struggles and can root for him. I don't think AHS has ever made me cry... ever and personally I find alot of the characters I've seen him portray rarely ever experience well... complex mental health issues I mean Dokja has depression, which may not be obvious outwardly but we can see this through his past and his risk taking behaviour. Overall I don't have high hopes, I love AHS just not for this

As someone who really loves ORV and I mean LOVES it.... I don't know if I could bring myself to watch this casting aside,, I don't have any hopes that they'll be able to bring the novel to screen in a way that is good. Just based on previous adaptions of novels and manwha's not to mention the limit in episodes I highly doubt they'll have enough episodes to really delve into the plot and even if they plan on making a season two (which I highly doubt based on the cast alone) i really doubt they'll be able to stick to the source material.

Edit: so just realised this was a movie so my expecations have dropped even lower I don't know who or why they thought this would be a good idea there's wayyy to much material to try and condense it into 2-3 hours

The ending is not as bad as I thought at least its more open than the webtoon ending

Just started this show and I don't know if i'll be able to make it through, theres nothing I DESPISE more than bully romance and quite frankly I don't know how they'll change Kangs character to make me not want to do his face in. I've also seen mixed reviews on this but I'll put my faith in the Tiktok edits and push through
