honestly seems like that might end up being the case, I mean Dylan is the first billing, but i'm hoping when it starts airing that might change, because otherwise I don't think i'll watch. I mean I love Dylan, but this story is female-centric first and foremost, in fact I was hoping that a less popular male actor would take this role because although XJX is a primary character in the novel, we don't really focus on him and the romance itself is a slowburn so we don't see much of him at the beginning either.

this is one of my favorite novels!! hope the drama lives up to it~

I don't know if the brother killed the ML's parents as while he is very apathetic he still has some morals, but I could believe that maybe the idea was brought up and he somewhat 'acquiesced' to their deaths (for the greater good or something).

Also I don't really know how old the brother is but I assume similar age to the ML or at least not much older, so maybe the brother might've known about the ML through his father, and only experimented on him after he was captured.

I also think that maybe the FL and the ML may have a hidden connection from childhood seeing as it seems both the FL and ML may have been experimented on. It might be why the ML was obsessed with her at first sight seeing as he doesn't care for other Yin's just the FL.

I also think plot wise especially in guideverse, the FL has to be special in some way whether it be trauma or physical attributes and now since we know she has special blood I'm leaning more towards her being a lab experiment.

What I think happened was they were both uncoscious as relived certain memories, at first the FL went into the ML's memories (I don't think it was time travel mainly because they only experienced personal events that happened while the other was there)

When the ML get's arrested in his memories and looks at the FL, thats when all his memories are recovered and he realises he is in a dream, hence turning back to look for the FL only to then enter her dream.

So they did not time travel, technically they went into the memories of each other's past. The only reason I wouldn't classify it as time travel is because their presence in the past didn't actually affect anything in the future, not to mention their own memories of those events haven't change to include each other, as neither of them remember each other being in their dreams (the FL doesn't have a memory of the meeting the ML when younger and vice versa)

But the plot is a bit confusing so I don't really know until the next episode if them being in each other's dreams affected them further or if it was just a coincidence

I'm also curious cause based on ep 18 when they were in each other's dreams it seems that the FL was being experimented on or had special physical attributes (she said her blood is the best medicine) Also seeing as the brother wasn't in the dream, I also wonder are they biologically related? or is it that they grew up in the same environement (lab). However, I do think the ML and FL's brother should have met before the death of the ML's parents seeing as the Special Unit?? was wanting to capture him as shown when the FL entered the ML's dream

I gave up trying to sense what type of setting it was, At first I thought futuristic fanatsy since it was guideverse, then pre apocalyptic fantasy, now with the dragon... lets just say fantasy 😂 the only plot i'm focused on is waiting for them to complete their pact now

its a mix of both, but def a bit more heavy for most of the drama as it delves into a lot of characters trauma

it was going strong, until like the last 10 episodes like I completely lost the plot, gave up even trying to figure it out, even the ending could've been more fleshed out I would've liked to see more of the relationship with MZY and WZ

especially knowing now from what i've heard that she actually ends up with the 2nd lead in the novel/manga and not the sensei, could've kept the relationship pure admiration for each other rather romance

its always the 'righteous' sects with the most evil characters frr 😭

I saw it coming but I really hoped it wouldn't go down this route... but still excited to see what comes next

just finished and I really like the drama but I do agree with others about the whole DID healed by love tbh not just this one but other dramas where the main character has some version of DID i've always hated when they 'heal' or get rid of the other personalities I mean, firstly they are there to PROTECT and two in dramas like these (especially this one) you can obviously see that the characters have gotten used to DID and in this case Sun truly had no problem whether they truly healed or not as he loved ALL of them, whereas can't say the same about her dad. Wished they all stayed especially since the 'final' Sairung didn't really feel like she had any of the other personalities traits, like it really just felt like Sairung stayed and the other were not existant. I kind of expected it though since Sairung has the original name therefore she must be the 'original'. But if we really had to choose (which we didn't need too) I would have chosen Marnmok seeing as she can truly emulate the other personalities and feels very much like all of them combined (even Sun noted that in ep 11)

fr I never cried until I saw WSW selll his parents house I absolutely lost it and CC at the end..... all i'll say is if it were me I'm cutting off all relationship with my family cause no parent would ever do that to their own child (especially when it was even their fault)

fr like if they had given a backstory to show that she was born apathetic then maybe i'd understand but from what I can tell she was a normal child, maybe had high iq but surely she wasn't this emotionally obtuse??? like she doesn't understand anything like I even doubt whether she even knew she had a boyfriend or whether she just thinks they were very good friends. Also you'd think after hearing what CLZ said she's understand that he didn't have a good relationship with his parents but nope... she's so ... unempathetic,... emotioneles...rude? like i don't even know how to describe it and her friend too!!
