this is what I wanted devil judge to be (although it was also good I really wanted a proper psycho lead) and Park En Bi really delivers, her acting, her eyes. Its too gooooodd!!!!!

the idea was good.... the execution however.....

initially I had no expectations, but my goodness, this show blew me away! Yaya's acting... spectacular and Phuwin really suits these bad boy-esque roles really well. The cast were amazing, really one of the best mystery thrillers i've seen this year

first half meh, boring didn't really care but the second half?! that ending? the plot twist! I suddenly remembered why I fell in love with this show, I can't wait for season 3!!!!

if there no season 2 i'm actually going to riot like that was the most disappointing ending ever!

I wanted the fight between XQ and the emperor to be the full blown epic battle with XQ winning and becoming king.

I mean I knew it was going to end on a cliffhanger cause it's only 40 episodes and there a lot of plot points that haven't been fully answered but still... like Wei Gong died and everyone forgot about him??? i'd rather he wake up in the real world and it was all just a dream instead 😭

(still rating it high tho cause ignoring the last 45 or so minutes of episode 40 it was a really good show... like I put it up there with JOL when it comes to my top wuxia/male lead dramas)

I agree, personally I wasn't interested in this show at all especially after trying to watch shows with similar plots the only ones I ever liked was My Heroic Husband and Joy of Life (or maybe I just like ZRY)

..... but I had to do my hair and needed to pass the time and it was amazing. The comedy is timed great and it doesn't remove the light heartedness even when things get serious which is why I tend to avoid those shows in the first place, because after 10 episodes they tend to get super depressing not to mention supporting characters are either given too much screentime or not enough which I feel this show does well in comparison as they balance screentime and flesh out characters without having to dedicate whole episodes to a sad backstory.

But to answer your question male centred dramas in general (more so cdramas) don't really get a lot of love because most people on here prefer female centred stories (which I understand as I am like that too) but that also results in gems like these being forgetten or not even given a chance due to many not being interested in male centred plots.

I'm wondering how they're going to explain how Bitna/Justitia falls in love with Daon, cause we're halfway there and their interactions usually consist of them arguing/trying to get the criminal. I don't really see why Bitna would even fall in love with Daon (and vice versa) so far but we'll see how it unravels

I agree regardless whether her ex has his reasons or truly cares about her it doesn't hide the. fact that the way he communicates with her is rude and harsh and from what I have watched makes her insecure/sad. Eunho needs positive people around her who can help her and talk to her in a way that makes her secure in herself

I think with dramas like A Journey to love it's easier to stomach when both sides can fight.... and in this one unfortunately apart from her brain Jiang Ci is as weak as a chicken, it's a one sided beating hence why I see why people may be more put off by it compared to other dramas where the female lead has some level of physical strength/power against the ML.

But also I feel like if someone wants to drop a drama that's their right there no use commenting your own opinions especially if you so strongly disagree.

Personally i'll keep watching cause I like Landy Li but ngl I would've dropped it if she wasn't in it... I'm not a fan of enemies to lover/bullies to lover whatever you want to call it. Friends to lover/rivals to lover though? count me in 😂

from what i read apparently during the live he (Ren Yun Jie) left for a moment and was heard in the background kissing his gf (Tan Xiaofan). And fans are upset because
1. this was during a live to promote the show
2. he appears to be hyping CP despite having a gf
3. his gf seems to act very jealous despite herself also being an actress and in the industry
There are other issues as well as such as apparently he hid the fact that he had a company (supporting him) an acted like he had no support/assistance?

I think there are much better cdramas to watch if you prefer romance and this is coming from someone who loves costume dramas but I found this a struggle to get through myself

wow the hate for her is insane like if you guys held her to the same standard you hold western artists this wouldn't even be a splash. There are literally people committing actual crimes who still get jobs but it's crickets for them. Just say you hold women to a higher standard and have nothing better to do. I'm happy for her comeback and I was not in her relationship therefore I have no say nor do I really care as the other party has moved on. Why are y'all still dragging it? it's been years.

although the plots are quite cliche and over the top I really liked this one, I had my doubts as while I loved Boys over Flowers when I first watched it I ended up not being able to rewatch (because of the bullying) and thought it was going to be like that but other than being emotionally closed off and quite aggressive at times the crown prince wasn't that bad. What I really loved however was the character devlopment of all characters especially the female lead, it really struch a chord watching such a bubbly girl become less cheerful and mature in a way despite only being a teenager. Overall solid 7/10 (i rarely give higher scores, and the romance plot dragged on for a tad bit too long like I'm tired of these misunderstanding and lack/inability to communicate)
