This drama is really bittersweet and I'm enjoying it so much. I wonder if they do a longer time skip (not the 3 years) and they meet up when they are much older? Maybe they will have older actors? I would like it that way.
Ok tears fell, but not full on crying, I’m at work, I’ve got try and at least be professional. Next episode…
She's not 25. At most she's is like 20 years old. She isn't a senior in college evident by her calling other people seniors. She is probably a sophomore which can range from 18-20 years old. And he is about 15-17 years old as we don't know their ages either, but we know he is a "junior high schooler" in Thailand which translate to high school in the west. So chances are they are about 2-5 years apart in age.
During those close up of Santa towards the end of today's ep....why didnt they bother to shave him? He's go so…
The school system in Thailand is not the same as the west. He is a "junior high schooler" in Thailand which makes him either 14-17 year old (typically High school in the west) I have seen high school kids with more facial hair than my father who is hairy AF. Lets say he is 15 or 16 in this, that puts him in the 10th to 11th grade range. Again it isn't odd to see him with facial hair.
There is no pedophilic in this okay just because a girl likes a guy younger does not mean shes being a pedophile…
Exactly. Some people love to throw around labels and things that just aren't turly there. So weird. If she was like 25 and he was 15 yeah that would be weird and wrong, but these two are probably just two or three years apart. Plus there is no indication that she's into young boys either, just happens to like this one who happens to just be a few years younger.
What? Like there is none of that in this. They aren't even that far apart in age. Like girl looks liek she is 17/18 and he is about 15/17 range. Plus for it to have a p*dophilia undertone there would needd to be enough evidence to show that she's into younger/ and often pre-pubescent kids, which isn't the case here. Sounds a lot like you are projecting here.
Why do fans get upset if a "shipped" couple turned out to be a real one? What am I missing?
Could be that for some of them shipping actors is a fantasy but secretly they have hope these actors will "date" them (the fans) so if they turn out to be gay or in a relationship, these fans become "upset"
I'm not trying to hate, so please do not take my comment as hate, but just as a different point of view. BL was…
Not to disagree, but even Shakespeare wrote BLs before Bls were a thing. Romeo and Juliet itself was meant to be about two men (one straight at that) but it ended up with what we have today. Japan only commercialized the heck out of it and sold it to housewives etc. But I do agree that an influx of hate coincides with the influx of Kpop fans. As someone who has been watching gay/lesbian/Bl dramas for a long time, a majority of people who didn't care for them would just ignore them, but with the explosion of success that allows for it to be mass-produced and shown worldwide, we have a lot of toxic people coming aboard and attacking actors. Earth is not the first one, I remember the hate that Mew got to the point that he ended up losing a lot of weight. There are a few other actors who got hate for being proudly themselves (Plustor is another) Fem gays are also targeted the most out of all of the LGBTQ community, which is really sad to see. I hope Earth continues to be himself and doesn't let these haters get to him (though it seems it already has since he had to call them out)
If you do find the address for Wabi Sabi let me know. Maybe I can write to him as well, I don't use social media that much. Maybe a group of people can get together and send him a nice big message board? let him know he is appreciated.
I am so disappointed in BL fans. I used to call out many of them when they loved to fetishize straight men falling for other men and claiming that they support all actors even if they were gay in real life. Still, here we actually have an actor in the LGBTQ community working and doing his thing (and actually being one of the most decent acting ones too) and he gets so much hate for being himself? The hypocrisy isn't lost on me. We know that BL media got popular as it was targeted toward straight mostly MARRIED women who fantasized about themselves in these positions, which is why we ended up with these uke/seme roles. Still, BL media has always been around since the time people could write as BL is part of the LGBTQ plight. You can't decide to support BL content and then turn around and be a bigot towards gay people. We have to call out these people. If you enjoy watching BLs but have a bias/hate towards gay actors, then you need to reevaluate why you watch these dramas.
Earth has been through a lot in the business, to keep adding hate by so-called fans or antis is despicable. When will they stop? When he harms himself? Is that the end goal of these people? We already live in a world full of hate, why keep adding to it? I wish we could send all of the positive messages to Earth! Let him see that many support him and appreciate him for being who he is.
Ep 15 my POVslowly thier becoming friends /not rivalsgroup hug was goodOMG - WANWAN,MAY,SARAS KILLED PAL AND PRAE…
I still think Pitch is involved. He acted way too cool/okay with Meen telling him how his sister came up with the throwing Pal out the balcony. There is no way that I as a sibling would be okay hearing that. I would be calling Meen a liar or at least I would be super angry. Prae isn't there to defend herself, so he should be suspicious. It makes him not act "human like" which leads me to conclude that he is involved some how. What if he already knew?
girls throwing Palana out of the balcony, its impossible that there are no any witnesses, that building is an…
They keep putting the camera on that girl who stole the photos/videos, she was sitting behind them during their lunch break. I think she might be a key witness. Maybe she is the one that arranged the whole video leaking at the wedding.
This drama is doing something right. 1) We don't blame victims for how they dress! The idea that a person has a right to violate/assault another person based on what they are wearing is ridiculous, archaic, and downright dumb. I've seen cases on a netflix docu-series where even nuns have been sexually assaulted and it had nothing to do with their clothes. Majority of people who sexually assault others do it because they want to have POWER over someone. 2) I loved that it was a man that came to May's defense because let's be real a lot of women tend to be the biggest victim blamers. But also it is good that a man is the one pointing out how another man should NOT behave with someone. Men calling out other Men is top-tier content! 3)I loved that Meen again made it clear, that just because a woman enjoys an orgy or two, likes to kiss people of the same sex, or wants to have a good time, doesn't make her a bad person or despicable. Young people experiment all the time. Prae was a willing participant and wanted to live life her way (though Pal did sort of play on Prae's insecurities) but in the end, Prae wasn't forced to do what she didn't want to do. I loved that Meen told her it was okay for her to enjoy herself, she wasn't going to judge her. 4) People can change! Non is proof (let's hope he keeps up)
Now let's talk about these characters I hate pitch and I don't see the point of his character. He better be the anti-hero and does something that makes me go "oh okay". Sure his mother is horrible but he is arrogant and full of himself, and even after learning the truth about the abortion and the money, he still "forgave" Meen for his own sake and not hers.
Meen is the quintessential Mary-Sue character. I really wish they would give her more range. Right now she is goody-two-shoes with a savior complex. I am rooting for a shocking revelation regarding her, cause it would really make her character interesting.
WanWan (nothing to say about her in this episode. She's my least favorite of the girls because she is like a horse with blinders. One track mind, which is why I don't really suspect her at all. I am betting my money on Saras being the one tbh.
May is actually a good character who is just kind of dumb! But I was glad to see her Boss take her side and say what he said because coming from Meen it wasn't going to be taken genuinely, but coming from her Boss who doesn't really know her that well, it proved to her that people can be on her side despite of the way she is presented (i.e. an easy type of woman)
Villains are kind of the best characters in this drama so far. Pitch's mother, Ruj, Wee, and not because of what they do, but the way the actors are playing them. As viewers, we want to either slap them or have them taken care of, which means that they are coming across as what was intended.
I really am looking forward to how this ends and wondering if there are enough episodes to wrap things up because it seems more and more is being uncovered. I am afraid they will rush a lot of the things we need to see/know.
