The approach to this season is quite interesting. There's Kiyoi, who wants to move forward with their relationship,…
Yesss i love this, I find it quite sad lots of people are just hating on Hira's childish behaviour without actually trying to understanding why he even thinks like this
it is almost fascinating to watch Kiyois tragic love with Hira. Im calling it tragedy because whats worse than…
I agree Hira is annoying to see especially in his relationship with Kiyoi, but I can't ever hate him, cuz he's also struggling through some major issues himself.
First episode in, I was already super interest, second episode and I am obsessed, third episode and there is literally no going back for me. I love how every single second is just so precious
This season was so important, we saw so much of Kiyoi's character growth here it really is amazing how much he's willing to change for this relationship with Hira. Kiyoi knows how Hira is, that he must be brave and take charge in facing the issues cuz Hira doesn't understand a lot of stuff. He said as much in ep4 when he mentioned Hira being immune to any alluding and prodding, that he had to stop sulking for their relationship to continue. It's beautiful honestly, Kiyoi has been such a patient and kind angel
Just hoping there will be more of Hira's character growth in the movie, cuz ma boi barely growed this season
Considering that the first season wasn't toxic, it depends on what you label as such.
I think it's kinda important to realise there wasn't actually any bullying, at least not to them. We see it as very mean and rude, but Hira loves Kiyoi for it, and I don't believe we've ever seen him being hurt when Kiyoi calls him 'disgusting' or whatnot, instead he's usually happy Kiyoi even gives him such attention. Kiyoi on the other hand, as we later realised, never actually means what he says, a typical tsundere. I feel like this is all aired out in ep6 of s1, and they really came to terms with their feelings
There's Hira who actually loves Kiyoi at first sight, but deems his as a 'king' figure, someone who he can never reach. So Hira never accepted that he can be Kiyoi's romantic partner even though he is totally obsessed with him.
Then there's Kiyoi, a popular and handsome person who's actually lonely and wants someone he can truly be himself with. He fell harder for Hira who deems him as king, and who's world revolves around him. But Kiyoi did not want to accept his own feelings, and they manifest as words of disgust instead.
Kiyoi is ultimately right, Hira may have always loved Kiyoi, but only as a god. Hira never considered Kiyoi's feelings cuz he didn't dare to, until when Kiyoi finally was brave enough to express himself to Hira
I saw lots of comments about the bl/bromance/romantic aspect of the series, but anyone tell me about the plot?? Like was it good, was it exciting, was it emotional? Anything??
You're definitely not wrong, plot is bad. But i guess their chemistry and acting made up for it? I do think 8.8…
Maybe so in acting/camera work, I wouldnt know cuz theyre not sth i usually notice much. Plot? No. If you're talking about just Thai BLs, maybe you're right, not many are really healthy relationships and have a really good plot. But this is nowhere near the best for me, especially if it includes all non-Thai BLs
Tbh plot was really not up to standard, but the superb acting made up for it, especially War. The actors/actresses really make you feel them, it can get really emotional at times, and that makes it quite a memorable watch
