i love this show. its light and fun and i dont find it cringe like some of the other comments? which is weird because i usually find everything in dramaland cringe and have to skip stuff. but no, i really like this show. up to about ep 9... would give it a current rating of 9.

agree. at first it was something different and a nice perspective on a different kind of pairing from the norm, but asian drama land is overdoing this so much. not saying this drama does this casue there's litearlly barely an age gap, but im getting really tired of the "old woman" with backaches (despite being like 30) finding a fresh new life with a far younger man simply because he's youthful and energetic and not because their actual personalities match.
i'd like to see more similiar aged couples too, then they can focus on whether theyre actually compatiable and not talk about age all the time

seriously, the last 10 or so eps of this show were a completely different vibe, setting, idk, the fl didnt even act the same. i know she was hurt and pregnant and trying to move on and be more mature, but i hate the way dramas portray this kind of situation. i despise the "fl runs away cause she's pregnant and becomes a depressed/stone person that isnt like her old personality at all and the ml has to try and convince her to take him back and even wen she does their relaitonship doesnt feel natural anymore" yes that. it happened in My husband in law too, and it ruined the whole show for me. i hate these kinds of tropes. they offer nothing to the story

i gave this an 8 tho i think the main couples story (while entertaining for hte most part) was like 5 different cliche stories put into one. the ceo drama, the crossdressing drama, the arranged marriage, the female vs world drama, business drama, You are my destiny pregnacy things, love triangles, i litearlly XD they went through everything so it turned pretty makjang/soap opera and at times i hated the leads at certain points BUT i love the two other couples and theri storylines so much, theyd get a 9.5 for me lol so i couldnt give this drama too low of a score.

yessssssssss, the main couple kind of annoyed me sometimes, idk their story was so up and down, but hte side couples. i loved them both so much. ugh, i wish they had more screentime haha. zitong and yiming were so cute XD i was worried they were gonna pair her up with the playboy guy near the end and never make yiming fall for her. thank god he was just very much in denial the whole time and they gave them a happy ending XD i love how honest and straightforward zitong was all the time XD it was hilarious

oh and that giant playland with the velcro suits/foam bath thing.

wait a second.... has anyone seen that variety show "when we write love story", the characters are doing the exact same activities one of the couples did: horse riding, go kart racing, making rings at that craft place, even making the same cake. is this filmed in the same city or something lol XD there must be some advertising package or something idk XD tell me im not going crazy

omg i cant. i cant even finish ep 4 without feeling super bad for the 2nd ML. why. why do they write stories like this? it's so good but i just hate love triangles so much.

lmao, for a first ep, that was actually hilarious and way better than i thought a cat-human transformation drama would go. i love the MLs expressions too. theyre just so funny. he was great in mr fox and miss rose too. he plays the "normal guy swept up into craziness" so well lol

thanks for the reply. yeah, ive also heard it gets alot better, its just hard for me to not think about, like why would they write him like that in the first place? they should make his character consistent. maybe ill continue it a bit later

i wanted to see the excellent chemistry everyone talks about but i couldnt get past the first 2 episodes of the ML being a jerk. im sorry, it made me too mad, i couldnt enjoy any of their interactions. he took her diary then played with her by never letting her into his building every day cause he enjoyed watching her struggle, then had the AUDACITY to feel bad when it started raining. what the actual fuck. im sorry I literally wanted to strangle him through the screen. not saying the fl is perfect, but yeah. i couldnt tolerate.

oh no, how heartbreaking when the emproer wakes up in his time and only has that photo to look at. i always feel that the one stuck in the past feels even worse cause everyone around him cant even comprehend a future so advanced. this makes me want to ccry. i hate when they seperate time travelling couples. it feels so gross

this is a great little drama with great chemistry. it was done really well and i loved teh MLs character and how quick he was to adapt to the real world while still maintaining that princely aura.

my fav character in this is su yuan, i really like the actor too, he's got an interesting acting style, i just watched his parts when this drama started to drag like hell and when the writing turned crazy. his relationship with nana was the most interesting
