Interesting concept. My favorite character is the dead bunny, hahaha. No seriously, my favorite character is the ex-boyfriend. The current boyfriend seems way too into him. I'm curious to see where they go with this story. I kinda feel like the girlfriend should dump both of them and find someone else. Surely glasses guy has a part, right?
Actually, the reason the girlfriend dumped the ex boyfriend was stupid. He picked her up and drove her home? I'd love a guy like that. Now, if he was too clingy, then that's another thing.
But I thought it was funny that he was really tall. He had to duck to get into his own apartment. And he drove a Mini Cooper, which has to be the smallest car ever made.
OH, the new rookie. Why fire FL just to hire another rookie? How is that downsizing?
Her qualifications definitely weren't on par with the other researchers. You're right. But the point of downsizing is not to replace people. It's to get rid of headcount.
OK, I LIKED the finale. I didn't love it, but I liked it.
1. The ML and FL got back together fairly quickly and slept with each other. I really did not think they belonged together, but it's a rom com and they were going to end up with each other, because that's the trope -- haters to lovers.
2. They were in silky PJs, but at least they weren't fully clothed and wearing winter coats, like some shows I could mention (Run On, My Liberation Notes).
3. I didn't see any passion. So far, the only show I've seen some sexual passion in was the SECOND leads in Business Proposal, (and somewhat, the second leads in Potato Lab, but it was done for comedy effect here).
4. At least the 3 year time skip did not have the lovers apart. I would have rioted if they broke them up for years, only to have them run into each other a year or two later and then get together. I hate that trope.
5 Ki-Se needed to be hit by the white truck of doom. They made him entirely too likable at the end. I would have loved to have seen him chewed out by the bigwigs at his ex in-law's company.
6. Ex-wife also needed to be hit by the white truck of doom. I would have loved to have seen her chewed out by her parents.
7. ML took his time resigning from big company. What took him so long to realize his job sucked? (I know, but you know?)
8. And what were his 3 new jobs? I didn't catch what was on his business cards. I realize he's working for the USB guesthouse, but what else is he doing? That guesthouse isn't paying the bills for all 4 of them.
9. And what is FL's new job? Does she work for as a representative for the farmer's now to negotiate prices with the Potato Lab? I realize she's also going to grad school so I doubt she has a full time job.
10. Newbie guy at Potato Lab finally had a purpose. He needed to be fully trained before FL left. And then he needed to be the Deus Ex Machina to solve the "needs more potatoes" problem.
11. Newbie guy has his own rookie following him around. Why fire FL just to hire a new guy? How is that downsizing?
12. The Potato Lab Gang are still awesome. I want to work there. They are all adorable.
1. Hahaha, there really is a ghost in room 301. And Alien ain't taking any shit from her.
2. SPIDERMAN!!! Love that the little girl thinks he's Spiderman, and then he shows up in blue pants and a red hoodie and tapes the mayor and the hotel owner in the van like it's spiderweb, and then lands in a Spiderman pose.
3. I love Alien's pettiness. Pay me for the coffee. It's no longer free if you're not doing this just for me. I don't owe you.
4. I love that Alien has totally given up on keeping his secret a secret. Yeah, whatever, tell everyone, cause you already have, anyway.
5. I love that Alien has a harem of women friends that have his back and who he hangs out with regularly now.
6. I thought it was weird that FL was married to a half alien, too, and didn't know it.
I absolutely loved this little, slice of life, sci fi, drama.
Episode 2, and I get why Takuzo was a crappy boyfriend.
Is Shinpei going to frame Takuzo for the murder?
Forget intimacy issues. This show is going weird.
My favorite character is still the dead bunny.

Was it the perfect palate cleanser after When the Stars Gossip? Yes.

The leads story arc better be wrapped up in a few days where Ki-se is run over by the white truck of doom and there was much rejoicing.
