Back-Hoe and Dumbass ex-husband were good friends and living together in NY. There's no way Back-Hoe didn't know…
Because FL is acting like nothing happened between her and Dumbass. Back-Hoe keeps waiting for her to tell him, but I think he already knows. He's said multiple times that he can tell when she's lying to him.
Back-Hoe and Dumbass ex-husband were good friends and living together in NY. There's no way Back-Hoe didn't know Dumbass was dating FL 6 years ago since there were dating for years.
Oh noes! What's going to happen? Will they change the future? If they do, what happens to "guest from the future?" Or will they be stuck with the future that "guest from the future" told them? I really want to know what happens, and Netflix will make me wait because they take too long to do the translations.
I love that Alien has so many lady friends, and they all came along.
I love that Alien is just resigned to telling everyone now.
So weird friend who can erase technology has a finger just like ET. She's got to be able to do more than that.
1. Wow, there are a lot of Japanese shows called "Quartet." I had to scroll halfway down the MDL page before I…
I'm a couple more episodes past the middle and I'm dropping it.
The taking out the trash story line was too unbelievable.
Maki and Maki's backstory was interesting. But when I got to the monkey with the blue balls, Suzume being taped up, and Alice stealing a violin and getting thrown off the balcony, I'm out. This show is just going off the rails.
I did spoil the ending for myself, which is WHY THIS IS ALL BEHIND A SPOILER. Don't read further if you don't want to be spoiled. I wanted to find out if it was worth watching to the end.
It turns out Maki isn't really Maki, and then she disappears for over a year. WTF? Glad I dropped it.
I'm halfway through, so I'll put my comments behind a spoiler tag.
1. Wow, there are a lot of Japanese shows called "Quartet." I had to scroll halfway down the MDL page before I found the right show.
2. I like how they're not great musicians. They're definitely a garage band quartet.
3. I like how their backgrounds are not what they seem. I thought Iemori owed money to the mob before his ex-wife story came out.
4. I don't like the "take out the garbage" storyline. Come on, you live there. Take out the damn garbage. You don't have to touch it, cause it's in bags. Just walk it down to the curb in the morning. Geez. If I was Beppu, I'd start charging rent to people who do NOT take out the garbage.
5. So they're not willing to walk a couple of bags of garbage 50 feet to the curb, but they're willing to load up the van with all the garbage and drive it to Maki's apartment in Tokyo, and take it up in the elevator or stairs, and stick it on her balcony? What the? That makes no sense. Surely they could have come up with a different plot to get Beppu into Maki's apartment.
I'm not sure if I like this show or not, but it is interesting.
This show is proof that sometimes you don't need the storyline to make sense. An all round good cast can create…
I agree. When science and relationships in "When The Stars Gossip" didn't make sense, it pissed me off. But when story lines in "The Potato Lab" don't make sense (i.e. how long tattoos last, cough, cough) I can roll with it, because this is a goofy comedy and not trying to be anything else.
2. FL needs to tell ML about ex-fiance' already. There's no need to keep it a secret.
3. There's no way FL didn't know about brother and best friend. Although I get that actually catching them in the act was traumatizing.
4. JUST KISS ALREADY. I'm getting tired of all the fake outs.
5. Back-hoe has to know about FL and ex-fiance' right? Everyone in the entire company knows about it, and he's supposedly a friend. Is that why ML changes the subject when FL brings it up? So she doesn't have to awkwardly tell him? He already knows.
This is practically Shakespeare after watching When The Stars Gossip.
I watched the entirety of WTSG because it was a total train wreck. A very expensive train wreck. It was so bad that it went around the block to being an entertaining disaster. You were right to drop it.
1. I knew the "Cross the line" scene at the end of ep. 6 was going to be a fake out with no kiss. I just knew it.
2. And at the end of ep. 7 we still don't get a kiss. Foreheads don't count.
3. FL's co-irkers are adorkable. I want to work there.
4. The LUNCH TABLE!!!! FL's co-irkers are adorkable. This was my favorite scene.
5. "My face is so forgettable that I got left behind on school trips." And now EVERYBODY knows about ML & FL. Time for crazy ex husband/ex-fiance' to do something stupid. What did he tell Lady Chairman while she was driving?
6. I guess crazy ex-wife is sleeping 24 hours a day?
7. Brother trying to act sexy.
8. FL's potato plushies in her bedroom.
I laughed hard at this episode. This show is definitely getting better.
