I saw the original teaser trailer from years ago. It was about meteors hitting the Earth. It had nothing to do with space babies. I think the actors were baited with one script and then it was switched by the time they got to filming and the actors were locked into their contracts.

I'm still surprised they hand a human sized ultrasound machine on board. Why? I thought they only had a mouse sized ultrasound on board.

Even Gong couldn't fly around the space station that good.

I bet every surface in that space station was covered in saliva, burped up food, pee, poop, and baby boogers.

OOOOOOH! Wait! I get it now. The actors were told the show was going to be about "heavenly bodies colliding!!!!!!" (Meteors hitting the Earth.)

And then they got around to filming it, and it was about "heavenly bodies colliding!" (Sex in SPAAAAAAACE.)

I have a completely different take. I think he died, since he appeared to commit suicide during the spacewalk. I thought that last scene was Eve running towards Gong and the child IN THEIR AFTERLIFE, since there's no way that child survived coming down to Earth.

WHOA! That was the teaser trailer for WTSG? It's completely different from what we actually got. Wow.

Option 5: That last scene had a woman running towards Gong in a wheelchair, while a 3 or 4 year old ran around. I assumed they were all 3 in the afterlife since there's no way that child survived reentry, 4Gs and the Earth's gravity after having been born and raised in zero gravity.

Ending 1: Dream sequence fakeout with happy ending and Eve, Gong, and the baby on Earth living a normal family life.

Ending 2: Eve dies after giving birth. Gong and baby stay on the space station forever.

Ending 3. Gong commits space suicide after scattering Eve's ashes during a space walk.

Ending 4. Gong and baby make it to Earth. Gong in a wheel chair while child runs around.

Ending 5. Gong and baby die, too. Eve, Gong and baby run around in the afterlife on a beach. OK, Gong is in a wheel chair, but Eve is running towards him and the child. There's no way that child survived reentry, 4Gs and Earth's gravity after being born and raised in zero gravity.

They gave 5 different ambiguous endings, at my count.
