I know it's just a drama, a lot of things may not make sense. But come on, how was a phone supposed to last so…
And the American space agency has the defrosted phone with 0% battery in a plastic bag, and yet somehow they were able to turn on the phone through the plastic bag, get through the lock screen, and read Gong's confession in Korean.
The writer doesn't know how cell phones (or Americans) work. And I was complaining about how the writer doesn't know how basic science works.
came here to check on this drama only for me to see a 7.0 ratingg. not even a 7.5?? what is going onnn?!I guess…
What's going on? BAD writing and directing. The acting is good, but the actors can't save a bad show. I would have dropped the show if the acting was bad, too.
I liked the first season a lot. The 2006 has too many horrible plot lines, that I ended up fast forwarding through certain character's plots. I was very disappointed in this second season.
This has a lovely "All Creatures Great and Small" vibe, only with human patients. The first season is the best. I didn't like the 2006 season or the 2022 reunion movie.
I like to wait until a drama ends before I watch it. It can't possibly be that bad is it?
Yes, it's terrible. But it's also terribly entertaining.
I've dropped a lot of shows that got boring or went off the rails. This show goes off the rails immediately. It's a total train wreck that you can't look away from. I'm hate watching it to the end. And despite the fact that I think it's terrible, I'm enjoying it.
I just discovered "Toni Watches" and she's recapping WTSG and it's hilarious. More fun than the actual show. I thought you'd enjoy, so here's the link.
20 years have gone by, but Shigeo's grandkids are still toddlers? Takehiro was 10 during the first season, so he should be 30 by now , not a college senior. It's been 20 years and Goto only married Ayaka within the last few years. They're both getting a bit old to be parents. He's already grandpa age. And the number of times Goto fell down, he should be one massive bruise. There's no way he was performing open heart bypass surgery during a typhoon after collapsing from exhaustion, but I guess the writers wanted a big finish.
Despite the age jumps being all over the place, this was a nice nostalgia show during the first half. It was interesting to see that they got all the old actors back. Although, I felt that Goto and Ayaka didn't feel like a married couple. No chemistry. The second half of the show was terrible.
I suspect since the actor that played Takehiro dropped out of acting as a child, if this show made it to a sequel show, they needed a different doctor to take over the practice.
The time jump at the end felt jarring (the baby is already born and walking). We don't get to find out anything about Goto's leukemia or Ayaka giving birth. Or why the intern stays. Everything just jumps ahead more than a year with no comments as to what happened except everyone is happy.
Can't believe it's finally over. Wish they had shown Takehiro take over the clinic at the end.
It would have been nice to see Takehiro take over the clinic at the end.
Since the kid who played Takehiro dropped out of acting 20 years ago, I suspect the writers didn't have Takehiro taking over the clinic in case this show led into a new season. They needed an actor who's going to commit to the show, and the Takehiro actor would not have done that.
1. Is Gong wearing CROCKS? Well, that's a fashion crime deserving 2 years in prison.2. What took him so long?…
Ugh, and that's another thing!
Why did he put it in writing, if he's telling her live in the sleeping bag? Gong is so stupid. (I take that back. The writer is stupid.)
And how do you leave your phone unlocked. I couldn't do that if I tried. It's automatic. (Again, the writer is stupid. Do they not know how smart phones work?)
1. Is Gong wearing CROCKS? Well, that's a fashion crime deserving 2 years in prison.
2. What took him so long? It's supposed to be 5 minute secret procedure.
3. WTF is Grandpa thinking barging into the operating room? He couldn't wait 5 minutes?
4. I guess we're not getting space babeeeees. I've been waiting for Eve's morning sickness, but I guess she's not preggers, either. And the morula has been through so many "traumas" I can't see how it's going to survive even if Eve saves it. Gamma rays in space, G-forces on the egg and sperm upon liftoff and G forces on the morula during reentry, freezing, super heat during reentry (don't tell me that little bitty container in Gong's sock protected it), and having everyone without a mask breath on it in the OR. Freezing and thawing does a number on my food, so I can't imagine doing it to a morula.
5. What's with Kang-Su's and Go-Eun's hotel rooms? I've never seen hotel rooms that big with huge hallways and large living rooms. And yes, I've been in large penthouse suites in hotels. They don't look like that.
6. Is Gong wearing CROCKS? Yes I repeated that crime.
7. I didn't like Eve forgiving her mother and each one pretending they're not related. I felt like they're both looking at each other and thinking, "I know that you know that I know that you know."
8. I guess Grandpa and or Kang-Su will pay off any fines Gong has. But the prison time that's coming up, and the revoking of his medical license? Hum.
9. At this point Go-Eun is the only character I like. And she was supposed to be the "bad girlfriend." She's the best.
They haven't sent it/taken it to the gov office so it's not registered yet. That's why he told her for her to…
Even in the fiction world, it's stalkery. And the look on Eve's face when she realizes that her future Mother-in-law is her real mother who doesn't want her but wants Gong as her only child.
In real life, that marriage license would be burned and the ashes danced upon before they were flushed down the toilet.
In K-dramaland, that marriage license is going into SPAAAAAAAACE.

Watch it and decide for yourself.

My phone opens with my fingerprint, not a pattern. My dad's opens with face recognition, not pattern.
The phone plot is senseless, especially since there was no reason to type it out when he told Eve in person inside the sleeping bag.

THIS!!!!!!! I totally agree.
