I just finished episode 7.

I have autistic relatives on all ends of the spectrum, and ML is not autistic. He's just written to be over the top weird, like all the characters are over the top weird in different ways.

Compare the ML in Potato Lab to the FL (and other autistic characters) in Extraordinary Attorney Woo or the ML's brother in It's Okay To Not Be Okay.

Let's not forget Hoshino Ayaka from Dr. Coto's (Koto's) Clinic.

You might want to put your responses behind a spoiler. I always try to make my comments behind the spoiler so nobody can claim I ruined the show for them. Someone did that to me once when I was only GUESSING what might happen next in the show, and they spammed the entire thread with how I spoiled the show for them.

I haven't rated it yet. I'm waiting to see if it gets better and nails the landing.

1. So their eyebrow tattoos just disappeared after a day or two? Microblading eyebrows lasts 6 months. Tattooed eyebrows last forever, until they fade to purple. It would have made more sense if they'd had their eyebrows dyed or henna or something. At least that wears off after a week or so.

2. FL is still annoying me.

3. Ex-wife is cool. I like ML's friendship with her.

4. I like the Potato Lab friendships.

5. FL still annoys me. Yes, I mentioned it twice.

6. ML would annoy me if he wasn't KTO. Imagine if he was played by ex-boyfriend actor.

7. Ex-boyfriend continues to be really shitty. How was he not fired after his divorce?

8. Dad's a monk?

9. Who are these kids that FL and her brother keep mentioning are being raised by someone?

10. How is brother and best friend not a couple yet? They're over 30.

Still, I'm enjoying it better than "When the Stars Gossip."

11. Why is brother sneaking into future girlfriend's room to borrow a book while she's sleeping? All he has to do is go in there when she's cleaning the living room, or a guest house.

12. Future girlfriend saying that she's already seen FL's brother naked when he was in the bath. They must know each other from being small children. Also, who uses their computer while in the bathtub? That's an electrocution accident waiting to happen.

Micro blading eyebrow tattoos normally last 6 months.

3. PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE PARKING LOT ATTENDANT DANCE!

5. ML is a total red flag. He won't take "No" for an answer. I'm sorry writer, but that's NOT cute or romantic. The only reason we're rooting for him to win is because he's KTO. If he was any other actor, we'd hate his character.

6. At least shitty ex-boyfriend is a real shitty ex-boyfriend.

7. Director So should have fired her 3 episodes ago. What took him so long?

8. I'm guessing they really fall for each other in episode 4, and he can date her because she's not his employee. Although, I would think she'd really hate his guts by now.

9. I'm really enjoying the goofiness of this show. I want to stay at that guesthouse. The rooms are huge and clean and have good WIFI.

1. FL is still annoying. But she's got a thing for Ho's. I'm sure that pun is intended.

2. If I was Director So, I would have fired the entire Potato Lab already. So much insubordination. Even if he wanted to keep the actual lab, just fire all the people who don't want to work for the big corporation.

3. So Baek Ho gets his Mr. Darcy moment in a wet white shirt. Yum. Also shower scene. More please.

4. That kiss was lame.

5. So Baek Ho better not ask FL out.

a. Because she's annoying and mean to him.

b. Because it's a power imbalance. I hate it when writers think it's romantic when a boss gets romantic with their subordinate. It's not. It's red flag red flag red flag. Ugh. I hope he's just asking her out so she can get back at ex-boyfriend.

6. So, the gay guy is married to a woman? And she arrives in a taxi after So Baek Ho was told there were no taxis in this rural area. Huh?

7. What's the deal with the head honchos and the ex-boyfriend at big company? I realize they're going to dribble out their backstories slowly, but I don't think I care.

This better get better or I might not make it until the end.

I'm finding best friend's "voice overs / attempts at writing a novel" are a fun way of telling the story and making fun of the tropes.

1. I started these coat checks for "When the Stars Gossip." Why not continue? I'm in the mood for a REAL comedy after that dog, and episode 1 gave me some chuckles.

2. Why is the FL so obnoxious? That's really turning me off. But I LOVE her red suit. That double layer jacket was great.

3. ML is still giving off golden retriever energy. I don't think Kang Tae Oh can help it. He's just a puppy in a man's body. And that body. In the rain. Soaking wet. Ahem. Cough Cough. I can't quite buy him as a company executive somehow. Or former special ops, well, except for his biceps. What was I saying?

4. It must have been hard to act against a CGI bird that wasn't there. I've been attacked by mocking birds during mating season. This looked about right.

5. Why was his suit and white shirt clean after rolling down a dirt hill? It would have been funnier if he was absolutely caked with mud.

6. All those bandaids and cuts on his face just disappeared in the next scene. It takes me a year for a bruise to go away.

I'm watching episode 2 later today. Looking forward to it.

This is such a sweet story.

I feel bad for the alien having to come out to more and more people.

I'd be happier if this writer did NOT try again.

No, I'm not giving bad reviews because of the ideology. I'm giving bad reviews because the writing is terrible. Every bit of basic science the writer got wrong. They even got wrong how cell phones work.
