The same way they show romance between two young people. They will stand 10 feet apart and stare at each other…
That's how they ALWAYS show romance in K-dramas.
And if they sleep together, they'll be wearing full clothing including heavy coats, knit hats and boots. So if it snows in Heaven, be prepared for a "sex' scene with no sex in it because they'll both be bundled up.
How are they going to show romance between a young man and an elderly? 🤔
The same way they show romance between two young people. They will stand 10 feet apart and stare at each other for 3 minutes straight while an original song plays in the background.
1. I guess the writer forgot that everyone is supposed to be wearing those bracelets so they don't float away.2.…
1. I think the fake out is that Lee Yeong Ae died at the same time Som I showed up, but I don't think they are the same character. I also think that Lee Jung Eun will play Lee Yeong Ae in Heaven.
2. I also thought Som I was going to be the cat. Now I think Som I might be the caregiver who was with the old husband all day, every day.
3. Thanks! I think you're right about those purple petals. There was one on the ground already. What rule did she break?
Didn't they say you can only live with the person you pick if they agree to it? So if he has no idea who Somi…
The writer keeps breaking their own Heaven rules.
Everyone is supposed to be cured of their sicknesses, like the ML is no longer paralyzed. But FL has bad knees and gets tired, after being told at her funeral that all her aches and pains are gone. And the blind guy was cured, but his dog is blind.
1. I guess the writer forgot that everyone is supposed to be wearing those bracelets so they don't float away.
2. If the blind guy was cured of his blindness once he got to Heaven (TM), why is his guide dog blind? I feel like the writer keeps breaking the Heaven (TM) rules when it's convenient for them.
3. The strays who were euthanized got me more than the guide dog.
4. So Sonya the Cat is a casshole (SIC). I died when she knocked over the water bottle.
5. So Som I is not the cat. I don't think Som I is Lee Yeong Ae, either. Hae Suk would recognize a 20 year old Lee Yeong Ae because she raised her since she was 6 or 7 years old. I think Lee Yeong Ae will be played by Lee Jung Eun when she gets to Heaven (TM).
6. What if Som I is the young version of the old lady caretaker? She spent hours with Ko Nak Jun when Have Suk was out collecting debts. She could have easily fallen in love with him during that time. And it's been over a year since he died. She could have died during that time and decided she didn't want to spend eternity with her own husband.
7. What's with the purple bird thing hanging in the tree and purple disks on the ground?
8. I'm still disappointed that both episodes started out strong, then got boring and repetitive for 40 minutes, and then end with a bang. I wish the episodes were only 30 minutes long. There's too much filler.
I like that theory! Sonya spent all day with the male lead and loved him.
It can't be Lee Young Ae, because the old lady raised her from a young child. The old lady would recognize Lee Young Ae as a 20 year old woman. But, she wouldn't recognize Sonya in human form.
Ugh, what is up with Lee Young Ae? She was brought up by Lee Hae Suk so why is she such a stupid thug? I would…
I think she was brought up to be the "muscle" to intimidate the clients who won't pay up. I also don't think she's the sharpest quill on the porcupine.
Checking my brain at the coat check, episode 1.OK, just so you know, I've been looking forward to this show. I…
1. I LOVE how this show started. First you think she's a little old lady protecting her son from loan sharks. Then you find out that SHE's a loan shark. Then you think she's a Dexter style serial killer. Then she makes kimchi in her client's apartment so it doesn't stink up her own apartment.
2. Then we immediately find out the back story on her husband's paralysis and practical jokes. And we find out the back story of her sidekick.
3. And then it gets boring for the next 40 minutes.
4. Why she didn't teach her sidekick the umbrella trick years ago mystifies me.
5. Finally, at the end of the episode, she goes to Heaven (TM). BUT the writer immediately breaks their own rules.
5a. Both husband and wife are given a bracelet so they don't float away, and then it's never mentioned again.
5b. At the funeral home, she notices that all her aches and pains have gone away, and The Grim Reaper tells her that there is no pain after death. But when she gets out of the giant box, she has aches and pains in her knees.
5c. In Heaven (TM), she's told that she has to pick one person to live with forever and nothing can change. That means everyone is told that. So that poor firefighter has to live with that little girl forever. What happens when her parents finally show up? Or his wife?
6. She's told she has to pick an age, and it can never change. Think about her husband. Of course he's going to pick a time before he was paralyzed, and he was young and hot. What was she thinking? Of course an 85 year old man is going to tell his 80 year old wife she's at her most beautiful. That doesn't mean he actually means it literally. Even old men like dating 25 year old women. She should have chosen 25, like she originally thought (but then we wouldn't have the show).
7. I am looking forward to the acting challenge that Son Suk Ku has of showing his 60 year love for his wife. And whatever shenanigans are about to happen with the other woman.
8. I know there are some theories that Som I (Some One?) is actually the side kick, Lee Yeong Ae, who's died and has taken a younger form in Heaven (TM). BUT, the old lady would recognize her, wouldn't she? She took the child in when she was 7 or 8 years old and they've lived together until the old lady died, so the old lady would know what Lee Yeong Ae looked like in her 20s.
9. I like the theory someone here has that Som I is the cat, Sonya, now in human form. She wouldn't have regular human memories except that she spent all day with the ML and loved him. But the writer already showed that pets go to Heaven (TM) in pet form, so does changing Sonya to human form break the rules, again? Or do pets have different rules? Maybe the guy with his dog's ashes finds the dog in human form?
OK, just so you know, I've been looking forward to this show. I had the hots for Mr. Gu in "My Liberation Notes" and I really want to see Sun Suk Ku as a romantic lead.

I wonder if Som I is the old lady caretaker who spent every day with the ML while the FL was out collecting debts.

In "Matrimonial Chaos" he's getting a divorce and is kinda a dick.
They're all different. He's not your stereotypical romantic lead.
