It was Mom's choice to contact WYW. It was Mom's choice to talk to WYW in the ladies room. It was Mom's choice to talk to WYW under the big tree. She could have just handed WYW's bag back and left, and not talked. It was Mom's choice to offer WYW a job. Each time Mom crossed paths with WYW, it was Mom's choice to do that, not Dad's and not WYW. Dad and WYW did not show up in Mom's life to cause her problems. Mom could have ignored WYW and stayed away and then nobody would have been suspicious.

I suspect the journalist knows what went down in Dad's restaurant because he got out of his car and listened outside the door or window.

At first, seeing how nice Mom was at the tree, and how she cried during the "interview" I thought maybe she regrets everything and wants to have a relationship with Dad and Young-Woo. Now Mom has shown that she is grasping for the Minister position and doesn't want anything or anyone to stand in her way, so she wants to get rid of Dad and Young-Woo just like she did before. Now I want Mom to suffer the most humiliation possible.
