Title My Liberation Notes Spoiler
Mr. Gu's facial expression of horror when MJ accidentally guessed his real name. She was listing off names she was going to tell the cashier and wasn't the third one she made up his real one?

Title Our Blues
Seon Ah looks like trouble … some kind of twisted love she has for Domg Seok.
I feel like their story is not going to end well.

CH saying he wants to be just like Gu. And Gu rolling his eyes, "Be careful what you wish for. You really don't want to be like me."

Layers of truth and fate slowly reveals in this excellent episode, where we finally know what could have been…
I thought the jumping off a cliff bit was a metaphor for her to get therapy.

I got the impression Gu's girlfriend died in a car accident because he asked who was driving the car.

So, I'm also trying to make sense of the translation of what went down with Gu's past.

My interpretation. Gu was living with Yellow Vest (Baek?) Guy's sister. She was depressed and got in a car accident and died. Gu thought Yellow Vest was behind the wheel of the car, but she actually killed herself.

The cliff jumping stuff was just a metaphor for therapy. Gu's girlfriend did not jump off a cliff.

Also, it sounds like Gu didn't like her very much at the end because her depression was getting to him, and he may have told her to get therapy and she killed herself. Then he felt guilty but never cried.

MJ yelled "Get Off" to CH, and Gu woke up and got off at the wrong station. She accidentally saved his life, because Yellow Vest (Baek?) Guy had a gang of thugs waiting for Gu. Gu hid in plain sight.

The way the chauffeur bowed to Gu means he must have been rich or still is rich. It sounds like Yellow Vest Guy took all of Gu's customers. Are they underworld or legit businessmen? Seem more underworld.

Gu's facial expressions of disgust when MJ was talking about frog guts bursting everywhere!!!!

My husband had to come in to see what I was laughing at, and I had to say there was no joke, just the actor's facial expressions.

I'm really enjoying the Boss and KJ interactions. They have lots of discussion and deep conversation. Their interactions…
I'm starting to think TH rejection of KJ was so polite and was good for her. Made her grow, and her boss is starting to see KJ in a different light. I think the boss might be the better boyfriend for KJ, although he is a playboy, so I'm not sure he would want KJ long term. I have mixed feelings.

I feel like autocorrect keeps changing what I typed, when I go back to read it.

I saw the writer's previous dramas before this one (another oh hae young and my mister) and I can see similarities…
I think TH was caught off guard. Since Ki Jung had unintentionally insulted divorced men with children in episode 1, I think TH thought KJ apologizing was just her trying to be nice. I don't think he realized she totally fell for him, and he didn't know what to say. I think he'll ask her out in episode 9.

and Chang Hee's unconventional confession of love in the air in the spur of emotional outburst 😂But I don't…
Hahaha! CH's "confession of love" was to jinx her, since everyone he loves has no money. I wonder if it all backfires.

But seriously, I don't see those two together at all. I just wonder if he's misinterpreting her aggressiveness.

Anyone else wonder if Chang Hee's annoying co-irker really has a crush on him?

I wonder if she talks to him constantly, and has her dad buy the store he's managing, because she thinks it's how to get close to Chang Hee?

She actually reminds me a bit of the older sister, Ki Jung, in her ineptitude with getting men to like her.

I keep seeing the writers doing these "paired" story lines, where you're rooting for one couple, but not the other, and yet the scenarios are weirdly similar. I mentioned this before but when KJ texts TH to tell her who beat him up so she can hunt them down and curse them. And when Gu asks MJ who her ex-boyfriend is so he can have someone hunt him down and beat him up. KJ sounds nuts, while you really want Gu to do it.

For the co-irker, you want her to stop bugging CH, but you want KJ to succeed with her nuts plans to get TH to go out with her.

They install the sinks with the cabinets. You see them put metal sinks in the back of the car along with the cabinets.
No need to apologize. We're all friends and fans here.

Yes, I know that bit. I'm asking about the name of the company being a pun in English, and if it is also a pun in Korean.

The lead in My Mister had stubble and it was hot as hell. Same writer as this show. I wonder if it's required…
My Mister did NOT go romantic between the two leads. You might want to give it another go.

I am kind confused at the translation of the word worship. To me it seems like nurture would be more fitting
Oddly, I watched a few clips that were translated by someone else, and they used the word "revere" instead of "worship."

I have a question, since I don't speak or read Korean.

The English captions say the father's company is "Sanpo Sinks." However, they don't actually make sinks, they make the cabinets the sinks go in and install them. "Sanpo Sinks" seems to be a pun in English which implies that the family is living in a sinking village.

Is the Korean name of the company the same as the English name? Or is it something different in Korean? Is it still a pun in Korean?

Mr.gu character just getting plain boring. I even losing interest in whatever his past if they drag it too long…
I love this show, and I'm drawn to Mr. Gu. But I do agree with you. They need to move the MJ / Gu storyline along a bit faster. I also find MJ boring, but she's supposed to be. I'm hoping she grows more interesting as she becomes more liberated. I want a hot kissing scene between MJ and Gu so badly, but I'm afraid they'll keep the relationship platonic like they did in My Mister.

The older brother and sister originally annoyed me, but now I love them. They've gotten funnier and better every episode. Same with the 2 guys in the Liberation Club and the older sister's boss.
