I think Koreans number their birth years with "you're one year old on the day you are born." So I assumed she mean that she wanted to support him from the day he was born.

Looks like a future scene where she's more stylish and living in Seoul.

That confused me too. But I assumed it meant that she wanted to comfort Gu from birth.

I do not think she is pregnant. I don't think Gu would leave if MJ was pregnant.

I had to look up what a Host Bar was in Korea.

They're called Host Bars, and they provide a place where women go and spend - sometimes - thousands of dollars for male company.

I like episode 11. Everyone got liberated.

Gu found out that Baek wasn't trailing him. Shin was and Shin wants Gu back. Gu worships MJ. Gu is liberated and will stay with MJ.

TH got liberated when he told his sister to leave and said he'd like to date KJ. He really likes her.

KJ got liberated because she has someone to love her this winter and he's not just anyone. She really likes him.

KJ's boss got liberated from his practically non-girlfriend. I suspect he knows he's too late to make a move on KJ, but he may learn from KJ's method of falling in love.

CH got liberated by driving Gu's car. He seems so content and peaceful now. He even drove his ex-girlfriend around. I like that he never lies about who owns the car. I love the dinner table talk when everyone is dancing around who owns the car and Gu just pretends he doesn't have a horse in this race,

MJ's best friend got money and told off her dying boyfriend's mother. I honestly don't know what the heck is going on there. That storyline seemed to come out of nowhere.

On a different note, Baek better get eaten by the wild dogs. Remember, I called it first.

So was this a COVID kiss or will we get a better kiss at the beginning of tomorrow's episode? You know they always expand the final scene of one episode into a longer scene at the beginning of the next episode. KISS KLIFFHANGER?

OK, so I've been rewatching MLN from the beginning, since I can't wait until next Saturday, AND I've noticed things I'd forgotten.

Mom tells Gu that MJ is like her Dad. She likes to work in the Sink Shop making cabinets.
Gu tells MJ that she is like her Dad. They're both afraid to ask people who owe them money for that which is rightly theirs.
Dad tells Gu that he acted as surety on a loan that defaulted, and had to pay off the other person's loan. MJ tells Gu that she did the same for her asshole exboyfriend and has to pay off his loan or her credit will be ruined. Like father, like daughter.
Mom tells Gu that Dad and Gu must have been partners in a previous life because they work so well together.
I think this is leading to MJ being the perfect partner for Gu. They'll take over the Sink business and live happily ever after, or so 2521 I'll stab someone with a sword.

MJ and her friend are eating something on a stick while standing in front of a high rise apartment building. MJ says it must be weird to be rich and live high up, because you could just decide to jump at any time. Friend says that's why she lives in a basement. I thought that conversation was so random when it first aired, but know that I know that Gu's girlfriend jumped, it gives me chills.

When Gu asks Dad for MJ's phone number. She gets the text "I got some money." and she doesn't know who it's from. Is it the asshole exboyfriend saying that he can now pay her back? That was what I thought she thought. Then the next text is "What do you want to eat?" and she looks confused. Then he says, "It's me, Gu." realizing that she doesn't know who is texting her. Then her smile. And the little napkin gift. AWWW.

I really like the scene where Dad confides to Gu that he doesn't have as much money as he should because he had to pay off someone else's loan. Like father, like daughter. And then afterwords tells Gu that its a good job, like he hinting for Gu to be his son-in-law.

Since I CANNOT wait until next Saturday for the next episode, I decided to rewatch from the beginning. I'm picking up so much that I missed the first time around, especially knowing where relationships are heading.

40 years here of the same.

I wondered about that. Why was Gu searching for "Worship" definitions in English on his phone?

I was also a bit confused as to his reading the newspaper out loud to Baek because his current work partner didn't speak all day. That makes a bit more sense that without practicing his Korean all day, he's losing his ability to speak it. Never occurred to me before. Thank you.

Because I don't speak Korean, I feel like I miss some of these subtleties in the script.

Me too. But so far all the really bad things I thought might happen, did not, so I'm hoping whatever it is, is minor. So far, everything the 3 siblings want they are getting. CH got his dream car. KJ will get someone to love this winter. And MJ has someone to worship her. Dad has someone to take over the sink business. Mom is happy about that. Even Gu did not get beaten up or killed.

EATING FOOD while SANDING WOOD and SAWDUST is flying everywhere. NO NO NO NO NO. She said she was a professional interior designer and he's a professional handyman. Both characters should know you don't eat food 2 feet away from sanding wood with sawdust flying in the air. Was that a decision by the writer or the director, because either way it's wrong?

All this time I thought Gu thought CH was annoying and oversharing, and intruding on his life, especially as CH kept telling Gu that they were best friends. And Gu actually felt worshipped!

I was so surprised that Gu actually drove back to Seoul and gave CH the car. That sealed the deal for me. Gu's in love with the whole Yeom family. Gu even called the Dad "his partner" when he was talking to Baek about being too busy making sinks to come back.

I find Gu's head movements very appealing.

Those wild dogs better eat the bad guys, otherwise why keep bringing them up?

When Gu confronts Baek in the melting yellow marshmallow of death, THAT STARE FOLLOWED BY THE HEAD SHRUG!

Gu looking in the rest room of the giant melting yellow Lego building and saying, "You need new sinks. Order them from Sanpo Sinks."

1. That's a hell of a big sink order. That's a big building.
2 Gu will make sure they pay through the nose for those sinks.
3. What's Dad going to think when they're installing the sinks and everyone is bowing to Gu?
