What about the ML' sister? And ML's aunt... Those two :/But I so agree with all the points you mentioned...
I think the FL will be discovered by the ML before she comes clean on her own... I hope she stays with the SML though he is so great TT

The ML's sister is just annoying because she doubts and doesn't like the FL (and she is technically right to do so) but is overall a nice person. So far, she never insulted, slapped or tried to hurt the FL. Unlike the ML's aunt, which is the only evil and toxic person I was referring to. That one is the devil lol

I hope everyone interested in this lakorn give it a chance because it's refreshing in many ways:

- FL can defend her self and do not hesitate to talk/slap back, she is not a push-over (yes girl!)
- I don't find the ML horrible. He is actually respectful towards the FL in many regards, considering the situation they are in (because of the FL) and the fact that she is lying to him about everything. He is not your typical toxic ML you see in most lakorns
- SML is perfect ! He gives the biggest second lead syndrome ever. He is so nice and thoughtful I wish the FL ends up with him at the end because he deserves the world. But I don't mind her ending up with the ML either at this point
- SFL actually has a good and supporting friend giving her great advice about loving oneself more and stop being crazy over someone who doesn't love her. In most lakorns, the SFL always has someone backing her up and giving her the worst advice possible
- We have just one evil and toxic person instead of a bunch of people. In most lakorns you see so many evil people that your head hurts at the end and it's way enough (I don't consider the SFL being evil, she is more blinded by jealousy and mean towards the FL)
- The story is moving up quickly and we do not keep circling around a misunderstanding for many episodes like most lakorns. That's great considering that the episodes are shorter (around 50 mins long)

So far I like it and I hope you'll do too :)

from the comments I gather that the ML is horrible and y'all want her to end up with the 2ML, since that almost…
Oh no you should give this a chance ! The ML is not horrible, he is actually nice to the FL besides being possessive and self-centered (it's lakorn world nonetheless) but way less than other typical lakorns. So far he is taking good care of her and defending her considering the situation they are in. I am really enjoying this and I hope you would too :)

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
Today's episode was deeply moving. I had to pause in the middle to compose myself.

I was wondering what the shaman's lady story was up until now and it deeply touched me. You see someone living their life but you really have no idea what they have gone through growing up. We clearly understand in this episode that physical abuse is as hurtful and damaging as psychological abuse. I am glad the directors showed us through the tale of the fathers of two sisters that everyone holds responsibility in a case of abuse, witnesses as much as abusers.

When it comes to the matter of life and death, I am happy MY choose to remember the only good memory she has with her father in her last goodbye. And I don't blame her for not wanting to see him before he passed away. Children are not obligated to love their parents unconditionally. When someones brought so much pain into your life, it's okay to want to have nothing to do with them anymore, even if they are your parents. It's sad but it's reality for many people in this world, and I love that this show is showing it as raw as it can get.

And the idea of family is beautifully laid out here. As I read somewhere "Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what." KT is doing that for MY and I hope she can also decide that for herself now that she knows the truth (or at least what we know to be the truth for now).

The last 3 episodes won't be an easy ride though but we Wille hopefully have a happy ending :)

What other good shows did TVN had this year? Just recently got into K-dramas so always open for recommendations.
This year tVN had many good dramas such as :
- Crash Landing On You (romance)
- Hospital playlist (slice of life)
- Hi bye, mama! (comedy romance)
- It's okay to not be okay (actually ongoing with 4 episodes left, psychological melo-romance)
- A piece of your mind (melodrama romance)
- My Unfamiliar Family (family drama)
The first 4 are also available on Netflix, depending on your location :)
Imo, this is a good starter pack for you because it has different genres, and now Stranger 2 (mystery crime) completes it.

Yes I am not all in for the HN being MY’s mother either. But MY’s knows who killed KT’s mother and tried to protect that person which is why she threatened ST, everything is possible

I personally think that she was really successful in achieving a healthier coping mechanism, counting to three…
I understand your point and I agree with all you said. To summarize mine and to take what you said last last, I just hope she doesn’t translate « be happy » equals «  being with KT » in the end :)

Yes indeed she held back once, only in Ms Park's case but imo it was because she missed KT. For example, in the scene where she said she was happy she held back, thinking about the kiss, felt a bit unsettling for me. Because it felt like a reward she gained from not using violence, when not using violence is the normal. So it makes me think that she still doesn't fully understand how toxic this behavior is but still using KT's method because KT said it.

Moreover, she didn't held back with the ex-husband when she was about to throw that rock, with Juri when she reached for the knife before she got distracted or when she pushed the CEO in the stairs or tried to beat him with a lamp.

What I meant is that I want her to be able to cope with anger on her own. She is indeed getting there slowly, and it takes time for sure. I just hope she adopts an healthy coping mechanism, unrelated to KT's presence or absence in her life and that she stays grounded in her own energy :)
