I remember a few episodes back Mr Rong said that if Jiasheng's big brother was still alive, he wouldn't ask ML to take over the family business and he wouldn't care what he does. Maybe Mr Rong knows something about ML's birth but since he has only one son left, biological or not, he will make do with that. That's only my theory

Well she might not have sacrificed much until now but at this point she is getting trapped in her own game. She has feelings for him and she will eventually have to make a choice between her love and her revenge.

Haha everyone has his own perception, but yes we can all agree that it's a solid 11/10 so far. I only regret starting this drama when still airing, the wait is killing me.

I disagree with you, it doesn't make any sense that he would leave his family behind for her. That would even be stupid because it would put her and her family in danger. No matter what, it's his family. He has a sense of responsibility and can't just cut all ties with them, when there are many other steps he can take to show his love for the FL. You can learn here that love isn't in the grand gestures but more in the subtler acts, that are more meaningful. Every step the ML takes shows that he loves her and tries to gain her trust.

I believe the ML has so much respect and love for the FL, he doesn't know how to act with her. He is treating her like something precious he doesn't want to break or hurt. She is older than him so I can understand that in front of her he looks intimitated. Which, in my opinion, fits the situation they are in. The ML is 20, has never had any relatonship and is usually really smart and mature with everybody else around him. But when it comes to the FL, not only she is older, but also can be quite intimidating. I think he is playing the character perfectly. Or else we would have a character which is overly confident in everything, now we have a character that looks more relatable: someone confident in every aspect of his life but clumsy around the woman he loves. I think they both complement each other very well.

I agree with you. I think the ML is really fit for this role, he is supposed to be younger than the FL so it's normal that their interaction looks a bit clumsy. I think he is doing a really good job, and their chemistry is amazing
