Well she might not have sacrificed much until now but at this point she is getting trapped in her own game. She has feelings for him and she will eventually have to make a choice between her love and her revenge.

Haha everyone has his own perception, but yes we can all agree that it's a solid 11/10 so far. I only regret starting this drama when still airing, the wait is killing me.

I disagree with you, it doesn't make any sense that he would leave his family behind for her. That would even be stupid because it would put her and her family in danger. No matter what, it's his family. He has a sense of responsibility and can't just cut all ties with them, when there are many other steps he can take to show his love for the FL. You can learn here that love isn't in the grand gestures but more in the subtler acts, that are more meaningful. Every step the ML takes shows that he loves her and tries to gain her trust.

I believe the ML has so much respect and love for the FL, he doesn't know how to act with her. He is treating her like something precious he doesn't want to break or hurt. She is older than him so I can understand that in front of her he looks intimitated. Which, in my opinion, fits the situation they are in. The ML is 20, has never had any relatonship and is usually really smart and mature with everybody else around him. But when it comes to the FL, not only she is older, but also can be quite intimidating. I think he is playing the character perfectly. Or else we would have a character which is overly confident in everything, now we have a character that looks more relatable: someone confident in every aspect of his life but clumsy around the woman he loves. I think they both complement each other very well.

This drama is highly addictive ! I watched 18 episodes in 2 days and now the wait is killing me :(

I just finished this drama and it was a good one. Here are my thoughts below :

- The FL is beautiful, smart, doesn't depend on the ML and can take care of those around her.
- The ML is smart, charming, loyal and can fight well.
I liked that the romance was slow paced but the main lead lacked chemistry IMO. Still, I didn't get second lead syndrome even though two of the SMLs could be a good fit to the FL.
Furthermore, there were many irrelevant side characters for the story IMO.

The ending was ok but not as good as I was expecting it to be. Many questions were left unanswered IMO. I was also expecting to see the main lead get married in the finale episode.

Overall the storyline and intrigue was ok but could have been better. Also, you have to be attentive during every episode because it's trough the dialogue you understand the time lapses.

I have watched other similar dramas like The Story of Ming Lan or Story of Yanxi Palace, and this drama is far below IMO in terms of storyline even though there are similarities.

I give it a 7/10
