The reasons for breakup were combination of many things. Main reason i think for granny liver donor since its urgent.

Secondly, to sort out his family and company problem, which also urgent.

Thirdly, yes health problem. He was shocked by the news and need some time.

After watching yesterday's eps, i dont think they were really breakup. They know exactly that they still love each other and just need some time to calm down.

Yes lawyer/law theme. But the cases are adaptation from real famous and controversial cases, thats why its a hit and top 1 tv drama in china back then.

CY didnt get many opportunities before (for 10 years), LAR is his first ML role, and he started to have rights to choose scripts himself from DTL. Thats why few opportunities for modern dramas too.
