And this is not regular xianxia drama, but a trilogy with so many famous actors actresses as leads and supporting roles. Very very high budget drama. Its an honor to be invited in such huge project as the only ML in the trilogy and final chapter is the most interesting one 😉

Agree with most you said, except yunshen living on his mothers' terms. I think he has to adapt his strategy with his conditions and situation (not only healthy, but also in the company, love, etc).
He didnt obey his mom blindly. To fight for the company was not because of his mom order, but to win purdu rights. To breakup with ZJ for many reasons including the liver donor.
So he has his own goals and ways to achieve them 😉

Btw, i agree you said its writer's "fault" to write such tragic condition for him. But since this will end happily, maybe the writer will do something to tell how FYS change his tragic condition into a winner in the next 9 episodes.
