Same thinking 😂 i once thought about both a and b options. But for a, if its true, his acting really beyond actor, because he is now become that persona. Every responses/expressions (even the quick/reflect ones) are very natural and impossible to be made on spot.
for b, some sort of autistic/other attention deficits. It seems difficult or need time to change his focus, thats why he is slow in games that need quick responses.
he may be a + b + any other combinations, a complex character that we wont able to guess since we dont know him personally 😂
Anyhow, from archeology and the fact that he got his first main lead role in LAR after 10 years in the industry (very different from other famous actors), means he is hard worker and sincere enough not to do/find "any shortcuts" to boost his career earlier 😉

its just a debate about the screen time of each guests got. Its not He laoshi fault, nor the editor. They just chose the cutest and funniest one for the best entertainment effect, so its basically CY’s “fault”, why is he so cute? 🤔🙄🤣🤣😝
Personally i think Joseph still got decent screen time and role there. Yes XSY and LMR didnt get much, but they have quiet personality and the hosts already tried their best to make them involved in the games 😉
It happened last year too, because CY was very funny and standout in that episode, lots of people (other actors’ fans) also not happy. So debate like this will always happen 😁
