Title Two Worlds Spoiler
I'm glad I didn't let bad reviews stop me from watching. I had this is my watchlist for awhile but always overlooked it because of reviews. Listen, is it perfect? Absolutely not. But it's not so bad that it's not enjoyable. I liked it so much I ended up binging it in 2 days. There were times where I did chuckle at certain scenes or editing choices, but overall I found it interesting. There also were some things that you had to really suspend disbelief to stay in the story. Like the blood clotting issue with father and son... Medically impossible in real life. And the end with the fruit thing and disease was a bit out there but that's when you just have to accept it and enjoy it for what it is. I felt the leads had good chemistry and the make out scenes were 🔥... Overall the show for me was a 7 but entertainment wise a 10. I really enjoyed it, despite the imperfections. I also didn't find it difficult at all to follow the flashbacks/present day scenes. I never once was confused so if you're worried about that, don't let it stop you from watching.
On The Boy Next World: My Destiny Feb 3, 2026
I watched the first two episodes and I enjoyed them. I had never watched the thai version so I watched them the next day and honestly I like the Japanese version better. The episodes are shorter (thai version has more fluff), the pacing feels better, the vibe is more serious/melancholic vs the thai version feeling more silly/goofy with humor mixed in. I can't wait to watch the rest of the series (and I still plan on finishing the thai version just to compare).

A lot of people said this version was a perfect remake of the thai version and having watched both episodes directly after each other, that's true to some extent... Like obviously the story is the same, so there are definitely similarities. But the pacing and general mood are different and 24 minutes vs 45 minutes. Longer isn't always better. The thai version feels like they added silly random parts to fill time whereas this version just felt more polished (in my opinion anyways).

This series is only 8 episodes. The first seven were honestly okay. It's a mediocre series, but I was still enjoying it. But that last episode.... What the heck did I just watch? That was a messy ride.

Actually this series is a mess but i can't look away 😅 i think the writing could be better. Sometimes i feel…
I legit came to the comments to see if anyone else felt exactly like this because I've been the entire time lol I was like, is it just me or is it kinda bad. The leads looks so good but the show feels weird at times where it feels like I missed something or like things progress strangely fast. it feels like lazy writing

I see a lot of people disliking the age gap but defend century of love, minstos laundromat, 1000 years old etc…I…
I also think too that his age needs to be taken into consideration... When he was young, same sex relationships weren't as easily accepted or found. Maybe he always had that part of him but never recognized it or explored it because it just wasn't a thing during his youth. There's a lot of people in real life that have straight marriages, have children, and eventually split because one ends up realizing they play for the other team. It's not always so black and white!

Title The Promise of the Soul Spoiler
Ok so the premise seemed weird at first and even throughout, I sometimes had a hard time getting past the grandpa thing... But overall I genuinely liked the show and don't regret watching it at all. It was a sweet romance and they somehow pulled it together very well by tying in the reincarnation of his wife. For any story, you have to suspend disbelief, but this one you REALLY had to in order to enjoy it. That being said, I've watched a lot of BL and I'd easily rate this an 8. I found myself looking forward to watching each episode and wanting to see how it played out. It was an original story (not overdone like a lot of BL) and unlike a lot of Chinese romance dramas, it wasn't a tragic ending. It was cute, sweet, and a short quick series that overall I think is worth the watch.
On Love in the Moonlight Oct 7, 2025
It's been awhile since I watched a series that really got me hooked, but this one is doing it for me. I almost skipped it because I'm getting burned out watching so many lackluster series... You spend time watching them and they aren't bad... But not good either. This series though is a 10/10 for me so far. I love the emotional drama and the story altogether is just so good.

I love Poom and I tune in every week to watch him. But this series is dreadfully boring. Or at least this ep was.…
I am not hating this series so far, but it does seem a bit bland and mostly because (like you said) I just don't feel the chemistry... Like there isn't much building anywhere. They give you something so small (like the "I love you" internet password thing) and then nothing. And in reality the tidbit they give isn't necessarily a romantic thing between the two, it's like they put it in the show for the audience but it's meaning is still empty and doesn't actually do anything for the relationship building of the couple. I'm a little disappointed so far ...

I'm actually really enjoying sweet tooth, my dentist 😅 it's so cute

I expected to hate this series but honestly found myself looking forward to each episode. Is it perfect? Definitely not (and honestly most aren't...) but it's certainly not the worst I've watched and I genuinely want to see the second season now.
On Does the Flower Bloom? May 2, 2025
Title Does the Flower Bloom? Spoiler
I think this movie was just not great... There was no chemistry with the leads and the whole romantic aspect of it felt so forced. Like the older man just "fell in love" out of nowhere and it didn't even make sense. There was barely any interaction between him and Yoichi. Yoichi's infatuation somewhat made sense... The older guy seeing his painting and understanding it was something Yoichi hadn't had before so he was attracted to him because of that.... But the other way around just didn't make sense... I don't even have an issue with the age gap but it seemed kinda creepy only because of the lack of buildup and the forced nature of the "feelings" on his end... There's was no connection... I feel like there was more story and as the audience we just got parts that didn't add up. I honestly couldn't recommend... I'd personally give this a 4 or 5 out of 10. Lacking in story and depth.
On Lost in the Woods Apr 23, 2025
I'm surprised by the lower rating... I'll admit it's a slow burn type of romance but the tension is sooo good and the story and visuals are nice as well. For me, it's a 9/10 and easily one of my favorites.

I'm sure this show is really good but I just started it and the whole first episode I wished they'd get the hair out of Jins eyes. Like just brush it to the side! 😅 It's so distracting.
On Knock Knock, Boys! Apr 6, 2025
I actually enjoyed this more than expected. Easily an 8/10. It's fluffy and cute. The romance kinda comes second though if you're wanting a lot of it... Most of the show is a "will they, won't they" vibe. But I binged it and never felt bored and the characters were cute.
On Sunset x Vibes Aug 27, 2024
I've watched 4 episodes and can't decide if this is worth continuing... The story is just blah. Like there's weird flashbacks (rarely) to a naga (I feel like they are trying to copy The Sign- which was a great show)... If that's not what they are doing then I truly don't even understand. That whole thing could have been left out and the story would be the same so far. If it's important, they aren't doing enough to tie it in and make it feel like it matters.

I also feel like some of the acting is so cringey... The characters are "baby-fied." Grown men just wouldn't be so immature and naive. The bad boy CEO comes across like a 12 year old boy in his first relationship. I don't understand what dynamic they are trying to achieve.

And sometimes the comedy aspects seem out of place. The show can't decide its tone. It's like it wants to be serious but then throws in juvenile humor out of no where and it's a bit painful to watch.

I find myself addicted to watching each new episode but as I watch I'm just like... Noooo, Ming! Why are you still so toxic toward your Joe baby!? Lol Like I wish he would have shown a TAD character growth... Maybe still toxic but a bit less so... Like he learned from past mistakes. But no, he just keeps making the same mistakes over and over. And Joe just takes it from EVERYONE. The night with Tharn and Ming both trying to have their ways with him was so messed up. Why are all the guys in his life such assholes!?

Title A Boss and a Babe Spoiler
I'm on my second try of attempting to finish watching this series. I'm starting to remember why I stopped the first time. It's not the worst series but Cher's character is so immature and childish at times and certain scenes are so cringe and painful to watch (like when Cher goes to Gun's house after the bar fight and gets drunk and dances and jumps on the couch. If I were gun I'd be like, "Sit the hell down. What's wrong with you?!" This part was painful to watch and made no sense.) The chemistry of the characters feels off too. When Cher and Gun first kiss they look so uncomfortable. But there are cute moments too and that keeps me hanging on but I almost feel like I'm forcing myself to watch it and I'm only half way through. It shouldn't feel like such a struggle but it is and I think poor writing/directing is to blame.
On Love Is Like a Cat Apr 24, 2024
Title Love Is Like a Cat Spoiler
After two episodes I tried to give this show the benefit of doubt and give it a chance.... After episode 7 I just can't 😅 For one, there's only going to be 12 episodes and it took until episode seven to really get any kind of romance... And when it happened boy did it feel like it was pushed... Not natural at all. It was like they forgot they were writing a romance story and were like oh crap we need to progress their relationship. I physically cringed watching the scene and was genuinely shocked with how they ended the episode because it seemed so ridiculous.

Also for a dog cafe... It's just a guy's house with a single dog outside lol I understand it is probably a low budget show but at least get two dogs and... Not once had the "cafe" really been shown or part of the story... There's no serving customers or anything that even really incorporates this important setting detail into the actual show other than the characters saying it's a dog
cafe. Like Uno is supposed to be working at a cafe... With dogs. But NONE of this is happening lol he sat up some tables outside once and took a dog for a walk 🤣
On Love Is Like a Cat Apr 12, 2024
So far I've watched all four episodes and I don't actually hate the show. It's hard to tell a story in 15 minute episodes and a lot of series fail and some do amazing. This one I feel like is kind of in the middle... It's not the worst but not the best. I also don't notice the "slow" pace. I think people have just gotten so used to faster/shorter content that it's hard to adjust when it's not like that. I still will give it a chance because I really don't think it's awful. I'd give it an 7.5/10 so far.
On The Middleman's Love Dec 22, 2023
The first episode was soooo hard to get through and it took me two sittings to finish it and I wasn't sure I'd even continue the show... I'm glad I did though! It's turned into a cute story and I found myself looking forward to the past few episodes. I know a lot of people hated it from the first episode (and if that's all I had watched, I'd feel the same) but give this show a chance! It's not bad at all and I feel like it redeemed itself as it went.
