After watching Bai Lu, Zhou Ye, and Gulinazha dramas back to back I feel this FL looks rather underwhelming to…
These actresses you named are underwhelming in acting. I rather have ren Min who is pretty, can act, can dance and can do her own stunts and doesn't use a double body.
I don't think that people are automatically saying the FL is annoying, but I also think people (me) are over this…
This drama is based off a novel, what do you suggest, to change the novel because you are over it? Don't watch. Is as simple as that. Some of us love this trope and watch it because this is typical cdrama. I mean wtf do you expect? Its a xianxia and this one is high budget one, yet you still here complaining? Are you for real?
Anyone knows what’s going on with Wetv. I’ve been trying to Purchase VIP access on the App and it not letting…
I had the same problem. I was keep getting error. Need to uninstall the app and then reinstall and log in, after that will redirect you to google play.
The mermaid consort was really a bitch. How could she do that to a kid all because you hate the mom? It's all…
She was bewitched by the Qing concubine. Mind manipulated to act bitchy and kill herself while putting the blame on the empress. The Qing concubine killed two birds with one stone.
"Xiao Zhan's name was banned from groups discussions on Douban" ??? That's not true, I don't know where you get…
I don't kno which groups are you frequenting every day, but he is still banned from being mentioned in most of the largest groups, although they broke the rule for him since Menghai drama aired last month. Example in the screenshot below, this is Wandering melon Farmers, group of 200k people, one of the biggest groups on DB, he is still in the prohibited names on the rules. You are not the only one frequenting DB daily... 🤷♀️ https://i.gyazo.com/61265f68b52b521f4dc7c476032172cd.png
People don't realize how explosive this drama is already in China. Just to give you an idea, until recently, Xiao Zhan's name was banned from groups discussions on Douban, but if you were to check now, you would find an abundance of topics about this drama in every group, all filled with praise. Which is impressive, because DB is known as the cove of XZ's antis. 😬 Anyway, despite this surge in popularity, there is a multitude of haters attempting to undermine its success. These individuals, like pathetic losers, primarily attack the FL's appearance. There are 4 type of haters who are trying to sabotage TLP: Xiao Zhan's eternal antis (usually they are the fans of his ex-costar from TU), They consistently bash everything about him without criterion and without scruple. Then there are the turtles, the CP fans from TU, they fear that Xiao Zhan will be shipped with another actress, leading them to lose him, and they bash on all his female co-stars, which is really pathetic, lol. Then we have the fans of other actors who are genuinely threatened by Xiao Zhan's soaring popularity. They actively seek to downgrade and downrate every single one of his works, regardless of its quality. Lastly, we have the haters of the female lead, who are simply jealous of her opportunity to star in such a significant drama alongside the biggest star in Chinese entertainment. Despite the concerted efforts of these groups, the drama shine brilliantly just from its first day of airing. Hence, these individuals should really save their efforts as they are only making a laughingstock of themselves. 😁
Someone asked for an explanation about what a Xianxia is. I wrote a comment but they deleted theirs... Here s mine if any of you is interested.
Xianxia, meaning “immortal heroes,” is a Chinese fantasy genre that focuses on characters who undergo meditation and training to become transcendental beings. It is often called “cultivation fantasy” by western readers. Wuxia focuses on the adventures of martial artists in ancient China. In fact, many consider Xianxia as a “fantasified” version of Wuxia. In western terms, you can think of Wuxia as “low fantasy,” while Xianxia is “high fantasy”. In Xianxia stories, characters often practice martial or mystical arts to become stronger and extend their lives. This process is called cultivation and people who do this are called cultivators. While Wuxia is limited to what is believable (albeit exaggerated to great proportions), Xianxia takes full advantage of fantastical elements drawn from Chinese mythology and folklore. Supernatural creatures like demons, spirits and magical beasts are a fixture in a Xianxian world. They act as protectors or destroyers, and often provide the protagonist with an opportunity to advance their cultivation. Some of these beings are cultivators themselves. Xianxia novels have an abundance of magical items that take many forms. The most common of these are magical pills or elixirs that boost a character’s cultivation. Other common magical items are enchanted weapons or tools. Xianxia novels regularly feature characters who have already reached the peak of cultivation, achieved immortality, and turned into gods. I hope this helpes.
Congratulations!!!! 27000 Tencent Heat on Day One!
To have an idea how impresive that number is, the highest record of the last premiere day was the 24,000+ belonged to Three Body during the Spring Festival when everyone is home watching TV. Also, normal users can only watch one episode, you need vip to watch all 4, so it means all the heat came from passersby that watched the first episode free. Flabbergasting.
The FL is in love with the 2nd ML but 2ML doesn't love her and he is too old for her, he's an immortal, also he was in love with her mother in the book. ML will kill 2ML because of a prophecy, and then because he knows she didn't loved him back he will sacrifice for her and let her kill him to get revenge. But after he dies she realises she was in love with him all the time. This is on the book though, the drama might differ.
