If based on real life were a genre it could be my favorite genre. They often have little details that would be hard for a writer to invent. They feel more real and so more intense. A few others not on this list are:

- The Throne (Sado)
- Memories of Murder
- Sea Fog

6. I enjoyed a lot of shows, but nothing that completely wowed me. My top 10 didn't change from 01/01/23 to 01/01/24.
7. Who knows? Dramaland keeps evolving. It depends where it goes. I could watch more or take a break. Most likely though is more of the same.

Agree. The writing is terrible but somehow I ended up enjoying it. No regrets watching it.

I’m watching now and it could end up being one of my favorite historicals. Why has this gotten so little attention? I’ve never seen it recommended anywhere.

Based on a novel, yes. But based on the same novel as season 1 according to MDL lol. So I expect only the characters and the setting will come from that novel.

Mixed feelings about webtoons. They are often more original and have fresh ideas. But the stories don’t seem to be as well written.

Hmm that’s strange. It says it’s based on a novel. So is the 1st season based on the novel? With different stories in later seasons? Or will the first season be half or a third of the novel? Then we have to wait?

I hope it’s the first. If it’s the second I’ll probably pass. Don’t want to start something that doesn’t have a satisfying ending.

Who is the screenwriter? I don’t see it listed. Maybe it changed? Keeping an eye on this one because of the director.

8-10 I’ll probably at least like it and maybe love it. Unlikely to hate it.
7-8 this gives ZERO clues. It could be cinematic gold, complete trash, or anything in between. One is not any more likely than the other. Most movies seem to get this rating.
6-0 probably avoid, unless there are only a few users who rated it. If so, who knows?

Ha ha that’s one way to look at it. For me it made the scenes where there was just dialogue dramatic.
