I know I am being random here, but I would love to read your analysis. I am one who totally doesn't mind clichés at all. I think that while we try to create new ways to tell stories, I believe we are at a point where we can't be as nuanced as in the past, so I don't complain about clichés much.

All I can say is there is nothing like a woman scorned. Ram is just so full of hatred that she can't see past it. Khem is not the mother or the little girl from Ram's past, nor the king and queen. He is Khem, but she doesn't care. She is stuck in this endless cycle of hatred that, even if she kills Khem, will never stop. Nothing she does will ever bring her peace until she is released from all that hate, and I believe her demise is that answer.
In a way, she has cursed herself as well as Khem.
He also may be the last one because Khem is male but has no offspring and no siblings, so the bloodline that started all of this will die with him...I am assuming.
