Me toooo I've recently been obsessed with poohpavel even when pooh has such cute puppy like characters Now I'm…
I am so ready for this! I really want to see how Pooh does with this. i am loving the promo video edits I have found on YouTube too. It really feels like this Fah will be someone more serious, dark, and sexy so fingers crossed they stick to that.
after sometime I have finally picked this back up. while I will say this is a good show, I still feel like something just isn’t hitting me right with it. I am on ep 10 and from when the backstory started until now I felt like Kun Yai has been sinking deep into his feels for Kawta but Kawta is still on the dock as Kun Yai tries to pul him in. This is understandable but I think I would have wanted the show to show more of Kawta starting to sink. I feel like we did see a little bit but I wanted more out of it. Maybe he starts to dream about him. Maybe he hears Kun Yai call his name and you can see Kawta shiver a bit or you can hear his heartbeat race. I also wanted to see the shift when Kawta finally accepts his feels for Kun Yai. The Nc scene in that room at Kawta’s Uncle’s place was not enough…or to make it enough I would have loved to have heard Kawta’s thoughts and how he shouldn’t do this but Kun Yai feels too good and he knows this isn’t right but it feels right. I want to really feel Kawta giving in. I know he talks with his mother and he finally comes to terms with his feelings but I feel like that is the first time we see it. I think the past focused too much on Kun Yai’s feelings and not enough on Kawta’s. it would have been nice to have some screen time put to Kawta spending time figuring his feelings out as everything is happening around him.
(commenting this everywhere) i feel like I've watched every good BL that exists and now I'm actually stuck...…
Welcome to the BL wall... We are all there, friend. I always find myself wondering what the heck to watch while waiting for new releases. It sucks! ৹ᵒ̴̶̷᷄﹏ᵒ̴̶̷᷅৹ I think it's because while there are a lot of BLs out there, for every one BL there are five straight dramas. We need more, but we just don't have enough companies producing them.
Honest Opinion. From Pitbabe to this, Pooh cannot keep up with Pavel. It's probably time to give Pavel a new pair…
Ok so let me put my two cents in here. It is one thing to critique someone, it is a whole other thing to be harsh.
We have to understand that even though we think words don’t matter, they do. I know, sticks and stones, right? But the thing is, especially when it is one of maybe a thousand, words can be as sharp as a knife and can do real damage to someone’s mental state.
Take what happened between Perth and Chimon. As I understand it, the fans tore into Chimon to the point that he had to take a mental break from acting and he still isn’t back.
The fans also tried to do this to Santa and Perth too.
Or Ohm and Leng. Even though most were still bitter about Ohm and Nano, they caused Ohm and Leng’s ship to break and sink. This, I believe, was Leng’s debut ship and it was all crushed because of people being cruel. He too was a rookie and I thought that for a rookie he did really well, but because of hateful people he’s debut flopped and his career could be up ended and destroyed before it can even go anywhere.
Now look, I know that Pooh being an actor has opened him up to criticism and he should be prepared for people saying cruel and mean things. However, I think a lot of us have gotten too comfortable with being overly harsh to the point of mentally breaking down a person.
I get that what you said is not as cruel as what others have said, but again your words are a knife that is only adding to the thousands of cuts Pooh maybe receiving. You can say he needs to work harder on his acting, but to say that Pavel should drop him is too much.
Please be careful with your words and choose them wisely before commenting on another person and their career.
Also, I think we need to give rookie actors some grace. Not all have good starts but as long as they are improving we should remain encouraging. I do like Pooh better in this. I tried PitBabe but for me I just couldn’t get behind Pooh's character and am unsure if it is because of Pooh or the character itself. I do know that I like Pooh as Thup. Him as Thup feels a lot better and a lot more natural to me. There are some moments where I think Pooh can improve on but over all I think he is doing fine.
And just to be far, I like Pavel as Singha but the man needs to really watch his lines. I have caught him twice now call Thup Pooh. 😂
Whatever you want, I find it truly disrespectful to advertise the series exclusively on Netflix and avoid publishing…
i habe been wsiting for this and just founded out that its on netflix, what? I have Iq, WeTV, Viki, and Gaga...i can't be spending all this money! i mean be for real!
Dear Diary,I just started the new episode of Interminable and—hold on—why am I suddenly thinking of 🍑🍑🍑???Oh…
HOOOOOONE!!!! You got me at almost 1 am cackling like a Hyena and kicking my feet! Please keep doing these dear diarys on every comment you do! LOVE YAH! ₍₍⚞(˶˃ ᗜ ˂˶)⚟⁾⁾
HOT D*MN THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!! HOT!!!! AND SEXYYYYYY!!!!! BUT MOSTLY BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!! Billy and Babe have no shame, and I am HERE for it!
That NC scene is the stuff poetry is made out of, ok? You can feel the passion just rolling off them. They wanted each other, and I loved every moment of it!!!!! ₍₍⚞(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)⚟⁾⁾
Now, let's get to the issue...
(For reference, F + name is future + name and P + name is past plus name.)
Where is the build-up?
While P Kaewta was sketching P Yai, where was the shyness? The flirtation? Where was the feeling of building heat?
Not only that, but we went from a flashback of seeing P Yai running into P Kaewta again at the dance academy (or that is what I am calling it. Don't know what it is called in the actual story), where they didn't even talk to each other. Kaewta just goes with Ruedee to make tea for P Yai. Then, to a flashback of P Kaewta sketching P Yai, and then them getting busy. There is no in between.
Now, do I get why this happened? Yes, somewhere between F Kaewta meeting F Sophee and F Kaewta trying to sketch F Yai, F Kaewta starts to remember sketching P Yai, and that is what leads to F Kaewta dreaming about that steamy moment from his past life.
However, I still say there should have been something to build up to that moment, like a little montage of P Yai and P Kaewta dating or something.
Or they didn't even have to show the full scene. Like maybe bits and pieces of it as Kaewta tries to get the memories from his past life back. Then, as he gets closer to F Yai, he slowly starts to see the pieces start becoming clearer.
One of my biggest gripes about Thai BLs is that they rarely build up enough to the NC scene for me. Sometimes it just feels like they slap an NC scene onto a show instead of really trying to work toward it. This makes me feel less for that scene, and it sucks to be honest. It feels like a waste.
That being said, I do like how Interminable is doing their flashbacks. They seem to be connecting the flashbacks to the characters themselves. For Sophee, it is flashbacks of either her time with P Yai and trying to pursue him, or her bringing pain to Kaewta as she becomes jealous of P Yai's love for him. For Yai, it is mostly for now the encounters he's had with P Kaewta, though I feel like, as the story goes on, his flashbacks may follow a more logical flow of how he met Kaewta, to them falling in love, and then their end. And for F Kaewta, it has been the sweeter moments with P Yai and the pain and torture from P Sophee.
However, I still say that the best show to do flashbacks was Until We Meet Again. It felt like they took two stories that run parallel to each other, and then they expertly connected them together into one storyline. No flashback felt out of place, and it also followed a logical progression of beginning, middle, and end. I also like how the show starts almost every ep with the past first and then goes into the future. I think Interminable could have done well with having the show start off this way. It would keep us more grounded on how things progressed in the past, instead of it solely being F Yai's flashbacks to do it. Then there can be more jumping around with the flashbacks during the rest of the ep.
when it comes to Korea, BLs are like the bottom rung of the totem pole to me, they never get the same amount of…
I feel you and I want to understand too. I mean I can’t stop thinking about how good it would be to have something high budget, great quality and over an hour and 12 ep long bl! Korea would be drowning in dough and views! I know that (light spoiler) in Hotel Luna the very end of it has someone else take over a new hotel. What if the new owner was gay? it would be a hit but nope! BLs aren’t good enough for that! ٩(๑꒦ິȏ꒦ິ๑)۶
well... first IQYI BL for me that wasn't up to standard. Looks pretty cheap, but meh its good enough to pass time.
when it comes to Korea, BLs are like the bottom rung of the totem pole to me, they never get the same amount of air time nor money as the other dramas which suck! I know Korea can produce a really good full length bl drama but they keep short changing it every time! I finally got my 12 ep fantasy in the recent goblin bl but it still didn’t go over an hour and still doesn’t have the same high fantasy flare like straight kdramas and I can’t understand why. We watch them and give them the views but at this point it feels like Korea is just throwing bls at us just to shut us up about them instead of giving us all they got like with the kdramas. IT SUCKS!!!!
Let me add here so that no one gets it twisted that I love Puppy Pooh too. This just hits different, you know?
