QUESTION: Do guys really carry a drunk friend PIGGYBACK style?? I’ve seen that so many times in many BL series. I have been drunk with friends, but I have yet to see anyone carrying someone piggyback style.
Just finished episode 1. Awkward and obviously staged fighting scene in the first few minutes.
So this is another “hate-turned-to-love” series!
The support character (Bank) is more of a main role material than Sky! I’d like to ship SUN + BANK!!! Haha!!! Wrong casting!!!
Here we are again with those accidental slips leading to accidental embraces! Nothing new, guys?
I like Sun though (actor: BOAT). He is star material.
Wait… is it really part of bodyguard duties to cook and to clean house?? Seems not likely!
The girl (Toktang) reminds me of Stockard Channing (“Grease”) because of those thick eyebrows and short, unruly hair.
So many stereotype characters here: bratty rich kid, subservient bodyguard, bully in school, giggly girls.
Also so many contrived scenes.
This is just the first episode and I have fast forwarded at least five times already. Not a good sign.
But I’m staying on because of Sun (Boat). Hehe. I tried to like Sky, but I really can’t. He is not lead role material to me. Sorry. I checked and he was main actor in LOVE BY CHANCE. I can’t even remember seeing him there!
The only good thing about this series is the photography. There is almost no story. You can summarize this series in one sentence: Mok and Bay went on a vacation where they met Boston and Jimmy. The end.
Episode 1 ended with no mention of the names of the two main characters who are talking. So many lines have been said, yet no names?? Isn't that the first thing a writer does -- introduce the characters? Not a good sign.
But -- the support character's name (Chonna) has been mentioned at least twice. So, we end ep 1 knowing only one main character (Sam) and Chonna.
Also, they're doing laundry without water, no hose, no faucet? Daf**??
It’s so unfair. Both Edward Chen and Tseng Jing Hua have moved on to other projects, while I’m still here in the world of Jia-han (Ahan) and Birdy. I can’t seem to move on, and keep going back again and again to their world — hoping that in my next viewing, their young selves ended up together, and not when their youth has passed.
I also have watched most videos related to the movie (behind the scene, deleted scenes, interviews, guestins, etc) — even those which have no English subtitles.
And I don’t think I can move on anytime soon. Please, producers!! Please give them more projects together. That would be the only time people like me can really move on.
Who owns the small house in the middle of a farm where A-Feng and Dragon Prince lived? I don’t think it was explained (or maybe I missed it). Why is no one living there? Is it owned by the family of Dragon Prince? If so, are there no caretakers who were displaced when the lovers lived there? If not, how did they know that such a small house exists?
Came here after watching YOUR NAME ENGRAVED HEREIN. I read a comment about other good Taiwanese series and THIS was recommended. Another title that came up is DEAR EX, but I couldn’t find a link of that.
Watched CRYSTAL BOYS Ep 1 and 2 and I’m hooked. I cried my eyes out towards the end of Ep 2.
By Ep 3 , the story became more interesting. I’m currently watching Ep 4 and I’m wondering why this series seems to have been forgotten. It’s really, really good to say the least.
Very well written subtitles, too!
This is definitely a hidden treasure from Taiwan.
I'm just wondering why Mousey isn't listed as a main character, when he really is.
Eps 1-2: Tue and Aek have ZERO chemistry. Acting and directing are lousy at best. Story: What story?? Enemies turned lovers? It’s all been done before! Ep 3: Watched the first quarter, but 2/4 is nowhere to be found. Don’t wanna waste any more effort and time on this trashy series. I’m giving up watching. Bye! 👋🏼
Very disappointing series. Eps 7 and 8 can be summarized as: volleyball, crying, more crying, cringy voice over lines, confusing ending. Flashbacks. Bloopers that aren't really bloopers. Waste of time.
The morning after drinking with friends, Champ wore Ton’s uniform because Ton threw up on his uniform. Champ left his wallet on Ton’s house. So, the people at the morgue thought the dead person was Ton.
The sequence from the time Ton went home and saw Champ tinkering with his motorcycle – to the time they went to the morgue – that is all part of the dream of Ton while he was at the hospital.
1 What is the title of the movie theme song that the sister hums (also hummed by their father’s lover towards the end)? 2 From what Japanese movie was that tune? This was the clue given by the father’s lover to the son 3 Another clue given by the old man is this: The son was named after the main character of that movie. What’s the name of the son?
This is the worst Thai BL I've seen so far. All situations are contrived, absurd and senseless. All characters are made to be stupid. Worst script also. I have to fast forward many scenes because they really don't add anything to the story. I watched this because I liked Cooper in My Bromance (2016). But his 2020 series did nothing good for his career. He did nothing here but be a brat, sneer, pout, raise an eyebrow or look at one side. I ended up hating his character the most.

What I don’t get: Why is Ton in the hospital?
