Bad Buddy is a very character-driven series, and we have to learn to put ourselves in the shoes of each character to understand the motivation of their actions and thoughts (yes, including even Wai)
For example, I just want to highlight the occasion when Pran was drinking with Wai (in EP 8, before the balcony scene).
Can you see just how much Pran loved Pat that even when he was with his best friend, he immediately can tell that Pat wasn't in a good situation just by hearing him (he himself said that later), and rushed back immediately (most likely) just to console him, and we get that entire balcony scene as delivered excellently by Ohm and Nanon.
And that actually added to Wai's feeling of being betrayed by Pran (it was after Wai saw Pran entering Pat's car) and as we now know, he likely already knew Pran's relationship with Pat then, but Pran still refused to tell him nonetheless. Imagine if Pran immediately went off after that call, how would Wai feel? (Especially when he heard Pat and Pran talking behind the stage)
Wai was obviously not drunk, and as you can see, Pran would rather choose Pat over Wai, and that tells all of us that he put a lot of effort into their relationship. He would choose Pat over Wai, and in EP 9, when Pat told Pran that he could post that they break up that Pran can mend his relationship with Wai, Pran flat out rejected it.
At that reveal scene, I would not assume much but I can feel that somehow Pran felt somewhat guilty for having denied/refused to tell the truth/hid things from his best friend, but he did all for Pat's sake.
If that's not love and effort, I don't know then what love is.
For those who want to prepare for EP 10, I recommend rewatching from EP 1 again. At the very first time Pat saw Pran during the fight scene in part 1, we pretty much get a summary of the family feud (or at least as what it appeared to be to Pat and Pran).
It's important because it will make a good link to what we are going to find out more in EP 10 as both of them try to resolve the situation.
Sorry been busy working so I haven't got the time to see all the huge number of comments below. Glad to see it's so lively as usual even when there is no episode this week.

Yes, as hanabii already mentioned, I think it's quite obvious that earlier episodes will have more time to accumulate more views.
After all, people can rewatch anytime they want, and as proven with Bad Buddy, it has a lot of people rewatching the earlier episodes, so yes, that's why.

Agreed. Pran has done a lot too, equally as much as Pat in my opinion.
It’s just that Pran tend to do things more quietly, behind the scenes while Pat tends to be more direct. It’s a nice complement of each other.
Too much impulsiveness or too much precautions/reservations will not make their relationship work. It works because they complement each other well and communicate very well with each other, verbally or non-verbally.
Hope you are not bored looking at this. Just want to show that even on weekday, Bad Buddy has been increasing by about 1 million views per day. Next one maybe just before midnight tomorrow (countdown time) or on New Year's Day.

If you read the comments, you can tell that a lot of people are on the OhmNanon team. That's just how amazing their performance in Bad Buddy had been, and the series haven't even ended yet!
I hope GMM really take notice and put them on more series together. Either a sequel, a special, or a new series, whatever it is. As long as they are comfortable with each other (which they are), we can expect yet more excellent things coming from them.
I have to be honest here. I am a Polca, and happy to see TayNew there, but as a Buddy, I am watching this video and waiting for nothing else than OhmNanon!

Just to let everyone know that since Bad Buddy started, Ohm has gained 700k followers, from then about 2 million to now 2.7 million, while Nanon gained about 500-600k followers, from about 2.8-2.9 million to now 3.4 million.
They are getting to the top of GMMTV IG accounts (excluding BrightWin ofcourse)
I am happy to see how so many of us here are doing in whatever little way we do to keep this Bad Buddy comment section lively and healthy, safe and welcoming, and also being respectful to each other, to the actors and actresses (while we still idolise them of course).
In the same way, if we happen to see toxic behaviour on Douban or other sites out there that you happen to visit or are regular members of, don't be afraid to do your little part to discourage toxic behaviour and other disrespectful attitudes, whether towards fellow commenters/discussion board members, or to the actors and the production team among others.
