Hi saifojio, I have thought about this before, but I have the impression that they originally wanted to put the present date as 2019 instead of 2021. Hence, 2009 as 10 years ago makes perfect sense.
This series has been announced since at least early in 2020 (maybe even earlier, I think I recall seeing something like this one had been promoted as early as 2019), and probably would have been aired back then in 2020 if not for the pandemic.
Hence, the 2 years delay likely made the last minute change from 2019 to 2021, but too late to adjust the dates in quite a lot of scenes for final release, as many of those scenes might have been recorded earlier on in 2020.
And that explains 13 Friday, which is 13 September 2019, which is just over 1 month time jump that is perfectly inline with timing.
(Plus this also means that Nut being just one year younger than Neung and Tarn is likely, as otherwise, it would have made him to be 2-3 years younger, and they may not be it the same high school that way, and Nut should be about the same age as Gen (27-28), hence, 10 years ago fits him just nice as a Year 2 high school boy while Neung and Tarn were Year 3 high school boys)
Just throwing out thoughts here, but anyone have ever thought that Kuenchai (the dog) is the reincarnation of Sibmeun, Nut's dad?
In Buddhist belief, one can be reincarnated as a lower being, like an animal, for the bad karma one accumulated in life. Sib certainly had enough of that by breaking up Saen and Na, and by breaking up Nut and Tarn, and how he treated both Na and Nut all those years.
That does explain why Kuenchai 'hated' the teddy bear so much. But, that's the penance that he had to endure, that karma led him to be once again at Nut's household, to see how Nut followed his dreams and all, and did not become what Sib wanted him to be.
(Whether reincarnated persons remember their past lives is debatable, as it is likely that they don't remember, but they may have echoes of that past)

I saw this post about Pat-Pran and Pob-Dew (from Dew the Movie). It was indeed beautiful that Pat and Pran ended up happily (while the relationship between Pob and Dew was really tragic).
What if Pob and Dew were actually reborn into Pat and Pran? (Suddenly have this idea for an AO3 AU here. Anyone willing to make the story? Still crafting mine at the moment. ):))

With all due respect, this isn't true. The actors may have been stellar in performance, but the direction, the production team, cinematography, supporting characters, music and many more have been amazing as well.
I am not going to compare piece by piece between Bad Buddy and Cutie Pie, but to say that Bad Buddy was only hyped because of actors is erroneous and false.
KinnPorsche started their airing with over 4k comments (while Bad Buddy had 2k back then)
With close to 3 episodes (this Saturday), KinnPorsche's almost 10.5k comments is still far below Bad Buddy's almost 54k comments, but things can change. (I hope that sans Immortality, no other series can catch up to us ):) )

Which I found very disappointing. But we have to support them! That way we may get our Eng sub series in YouTube sooner!

Will be watching The Miracle of Teddy Bear EP 11 tonight, with EP 12 and 13 coming out over the weekend too.
Highly recommending this series as usual. Very good series that is unfortunately underrated unlike the other two much more well-known airing ones.
