Exactly finally people are seeing the issue instead of blindly saying the drama is good. No it is not. I think…
I think especially for Thai actors the fandom is hyper hyped and I've never seen so often the comment "I give a 10 just because it's *actors' name* " or the "I haven't watched it but just because it's *couple name* I give it a 10" than under a Thai drama's production. Unfortunately, it seems to me that some dramas end up relying solely on the names of actors/actresses or popular characters, and the storylines have many flaws.
What's a shame is that it's disrespectful to the audience, but it's also a shame for the actors not to have more interesting roles to play.
However, I can understand that when an actor is good, fans want to defend their work because there is only so much actors/actresses can do to make a weak scenario better.
But it's interesting to share opinions and I guess we all have those moment where we are able to find good things because we see with our sympathy for this or that actor/actress we like.
It's weird, somehow I 100% like the characters (and the acting) of probably almost everyone ? But as for the scenario ... That leaves me perplexed more often than I would like. I'm confused.
I don't get why He Xiang Yong owes 5 million of damages to his former employer?
It really had me freezing as to figure out how you can owe your company 5 millions ... and this being legal in some way. I think we are a certain numbere of watcher here being ... taken aback. o_O
review 3 : it's definitely watchable. Some uneveness but fun and cute. Good acting, nice characters, nice setting. The scenario only is sometimes ... I'm not too sure. But it's a nice drama all in all.
Let me try to refute respectfully, as a filmmaker (Just so you know I'm not just speaking from a biased point…
Thank you for your reply. I understand what you say and it's good that you are finding good aspects. We are always more or less responsive to certain drama. We are now at episode 4 out of 12. Which makes one third of the drama. The plot is finaly moving a little bit but the characters don't show much more depth ... at this point it would be good that one of those aspect was a bit more developped. As a specialist of litterature, I can tell you that so far the character are sadly mostly filling up steretotypes. And talking about steretotypes I think this is where I draw the line. I have nothing against archetypes. They are the base of many great stories. But here we are more into stereotypes. That's when there is a lack of personnality and a touch of originality. I understand you like the serie and I certainly don't want to be rude to you. And you can tell you like the serie. ANd I will not invalidate that for you it makes sens. You can argue there is always a grey zone because it's not mathematic.
I understand the calm ..... thing but so far his character lacks depth. If it wasn't for the acting that helps make it look a bit more alive. As for Nakkhun as I said it's Legit for him to not accept. Plot wise the repetition of the motif is splattered on many many many episodes and is repetitive. And he IS doing a lot of frolicking. His attitude is very passive in his search of going back in his timeline for someone who supposedly suffers from it and has difficulty to adjust. YEs he is writing about it but he is writing what he found by luck, never while looking for solutions.
I like the second couple which with little is more consistent. I am sad for the first couple because it's very uneven. The costumes are nice. I still have hope characters will have a bit more layers because I believe the actors certainly can provide that. I hope it's just a slow developpement. And it's true I was hoping for something better. I like the second couple which with little is more consistent. I am sad for the first couple because it's very uneven and shelf of stereotypes. Hmmm ... second couple story is not too badly done.
As for main couple is like they wanted to make Phop cool and he is bland they wanted to make Nakkun funny and they made it irritating. (plus ... he spent 3 episodes being really upset about beieng sent in the past which is legit, but then he sure spends a huge amount of time frolicking instead on working his way to go back to his timeline ... doesn't make much sens)
the plot and characters are poorly written. That's sad :(
So far they didn't have much interaction (because the drama is so ... horribly slow. It's been 3 hours and we…
Zomnivor is indeed a zombie story, which is not my cup of tea either but I watched it because of the casting. Wanted to see how some were doing in somewhat different type of series.
It’s quite good for what it is. Of you’re able to take a step back and watch it just like a casting director of sort to see how the actors are doing its okay.
But somehow it works. It will not change the world but it's happy. It's funny. The kids are quite good in their acting for kids. Their is a nice touch to create a colorful universe for the show.
The adults characters are nicely cast and main CP look like a good pair.
There i s quite a bunch of not possible situations that we have to put with for the sake of the show.
But all in all it's an easy nice simple feel good drama.
The characters are aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal very kind, a lot of thigs are unlikely to ever happen,
This week episode is not logical (No supervisor would display one of her school as thaaaaaat messy and probably that kind of problems are never solved that way in real life) but ... let it slide
And why is he smiling like an idiot most of the time!? It's painful to watch.
no idea ... no idea. but I also feel they should have go for something serious and if IF there was a good appropriate on time joke to do while writing the scenario or acting they could add it. Because I too feel like it's forced.
But to speak my mind I'm getting a bit tired of the extra noises added in almost every thai drama recently. dog, cat, baby, honk, speeding car, broken glasses, tiger, duck ... they have to give noises to everything. If the acting isnt sufficient to share the feelings might consider changing actors instead of having the audience living in a zoo. it reminds me of the old US soap with the fake laugh.

I didn't watch the whole 'the next prince things' because it quite quickly didn't made sens for me and basically I wanted to know what Net was up to. Somehow the scenes with Net and JJ in the that Drama seemed better than what we have now and I wasn't that enthousiast about the Next Prince ...
So I don't know if it's that scenario, if it's the directing, if it's the acting or if the pair isn't much confortable together at the moment ... Probably a bit of everything.
The scenario in Bed Friend wasn't perfect but there were interesting points and scene and I also feel like the main CP was really making it believable. I was really positively impressed by Net's acting. I watched Zomnivor too and the acting seemed still good so I hope something will come up this time too.
How is NetJJ, guys? Are they good as NetJames? Net's expression on previous dramas were insane and I donot want…
So far they didn't have much interaction (because the drama is so ... horribly slow. It's been 3 hours and we finaly get to know a little bit plot element) JJ is so far running around, screaming and making people working for him miserable. Not too convinced by his acting so far but also it's true that the character he is playing doesn't seem to be written with appropriate reactions.
... I still want to keep some hope for further episode but if you watch now and want to compare to BedFriend ... at the moment it's better not to compare. Net has barely been there and his role consist on sitting here and there with sad eyes (mostly)
You can join prayers for this to come up to something proper.
ANd now I gotta live or I'm pretty sure a wave of hate will swallow me whole.
If someone more enthousiast than me want to give an alternative pov...
And why is he smiling like an idiot most of the time!? It's painful to watch.
I think when he does that it’s for the comedy aspect they try to force in the show but I have to admit I often find it more awkward because it is not fun.
I still hope for better episodes to come. It’s a bit sad I was looking forward to this drama.
But if everyone has them, maybe the trend will reverse and not having them will become special! We always want what we don't have, right?!
But yes, all these genetic traits are interesting! The dimple on the chin, eye color depending on whether it's due to recessive alleles!
Anyway, I think I'll take another look to pay more attention to those dimples!

That's the type of info I would ponder on !
Thanks for sharing ! ! !

A bit more episodes will probably be necessary to me

I’ll be on the deck …
Hopefully it will start to have a bit more content tonight. :)
We might meet for the debriefing ;)

But it’s definitely zombies all the time.
The scenario premisses didn't seem like much.

On a positive note the costumes are nice
