badly written story about toxic relationship and how you are supposed to like it.

There are two team digging ... one for unlikeliness and one for toxic relation but both of them might be working for that drama.
That's one more story of toxic guy, unhealthy relationship and ... please where is the police to put all that to an end ?
But still we are supposed to think the very toxic guy is some kind of prince charming just slightly possessive ... who said plain on crazy ?

And what with the family dramas popping up here and there so we are supposed to feel pity or so they can gather a kid for the final scene.

Desesperately stupid.

Cuteness overload

The story is cute
The characters are cute (and yet sneaky but in a cute way)
The actors are cute
... even the bad guys end up being cute !

This is all but a feel good drama but nicely wrapped. This is legit sport story, characters have a background and a story.
In short 8 episodes you get to know the hows and whys just when needed and brought up nicely enough that it doesn't feel forced for the sake of drama. Looking back at it it's amazing how much they were able to tell without this feeling rushed but just keeping the pace. It's a sweet love summer rain that you can rewatch to cheer you up.

Bonus : Go Sang Ha nice jump on Jin Won (good job bro !)
Bonus : Right at the first episodes smoothest loong legs display (not sure if we should feel jalous or just feel that it must be so soft)
Warning ... regular milk waste !

Almost about firefighters

I have to admit my disappointment with this drama.

The cast is amazing, the potential for stories with a subject like a fire station is enormous...

In the end, many episodes are spent talking about internet backlash. When there are fires, the writers don't know how to tell a story... they just film empty scenes without any plot.
Managing a fire depending on the location, the type of building, the teams, the evacuations of the injured, the deployment of resources, the strategy implemented... there's so much they could have told, but it's completely empty.

We see images of people drinking and eating between explosions, but the story has no substance.

What a shame.

Then... the annoying things:
- I have a big problem with inconsistencies, and yet I also have a margin of tolerance, but the girlfriends waiting for their boyfriends at the barracks... even worse, when they get off the truck... I don't know many countries where families are allowed, and in China, military tradition forbids civilians from wandering around as they please!
- The whole bit with the petty squabbles between female characters... It's a cliché I could do without in 2026...
- Everyone walking on the wooden floor of the dance studio with shoes on... It's a small detail, but it wasn't hard to think of. Speaking of which, it's a shame they didn't cast an actress with some dance experience (they must have existed) because it's terribly obvious that she doesn't know anything about it (or they should have found her another job... she should have gone into theater).
- Is there an hospital where no doctors are here or at least come when the patient wakes up to explain the situation ? Apparently here it's the coworker and the coworker's girlfriend who do it. (why was is also tagging along in the most inapropriate place ... ?)

With the help of alcohol ?

With the help of alcohol

I think what's actually recommended is to drink before watching the drama.

It's not catastrophic, but nothing original either, just the expected clichés, and then... this very unsettling aspect that makes you feel like the entire drama is designed to encourage the characters to drink.
One of the characters is sober and wants to fight against the normalization of alcohol consumption... the other character spends his time trying to get him to drink (I won't spoil the ending, but...).

Unfortunately, in the end, what this drama highlights is the problem that many societies still have, believing that heavy drinking is necessary to have a good time, make friends, and be accepted.

It's sad to see storylines built on this premise in our time.

Beautifully so true

A bittersweet rollercoaster through life messy and bumpy road of not conforming to society's unrealistic love for people who are smooth, well-integrated, and conform to the mold.

Following Ko Yeong from university along his asocial best friend and roomie, up to entering the world of work, facing love, loss, sickness, pain and happiness with his group of best buddies.

A emotional journey through all life can throw at you, the good and the bad, the pain and the joy ... and hope ?

Defintely a must see. Cast is perfectly interpreting all those human portraits.

I have a special fondness for Ji Ho Heun ... probably not the only one.

We are all mad here !

The basic plot line is about a guy with a serious damsell in distress syndrom and his pimp daddy.

Damsell in distress and pimp daddy can probably be a scenario, even though it's rarely an interesting one and this drama is just one more of those. But that's not the main issue.

Most of the characters are non logical. Saved for Jeanine, The Autie Jeed
Also Thada who wants Armin's as... actor skill in bed~~ so it makes sens that he puts through the guy's wired and unrestrain claims that he came back from the future into his past. Put through the guy perpetual tantrums. Put through the fact the guy is bad luck everywhere he goes. I've seen people run away for less than the quarter of the quarter of that.

Which lead us to Armin. The character is annoying and non logical at all. FIrst, it's the base of the drama itself, he has a life falling apart, he was killed and he wakes up 20 years before all the mess with a chance to start everything again ... for the good third of the drama he just complains. No one, if given a second chance in life to start back in his twenties with the knowledge of a 40 year old would be upset about that. Then, he keeps getting angry at everyone for things he knows that the other characters can't be aware of. And not being cold and moody towards them but screaming and making scenes every episode (or twice per episode) . At first, as said, he is a very unknown actor so ... usually you play it cool when you start at the lowest of a job but nope, he just screams at everyone on set. But apparently that's not an issue (mostly because Pimp Daddy has his back)

But he's not the one and only. Lily manager is another crazy tantrum queen. prepare your ears.

ANd then multiple actors who try to achieve fame by ... killing other actors (Armin ... which is understable since the guy keeps on screaming at everyone) but ... dude, if you're behind bars you will hardly become an actor who gets to star in movies. Because they're never discreet about their attempt of murders.

There is so much more. This drama is a catastrophe.

a lot packed in (a bit too) short movie

Taiwan delivers one of its great works. The plot could be quite ordinary, but the film's brevity is perhaps its strength.

In a few key moments, a few glimpses of light on these instants, we see how the two main characters' paths cross and their lives become inexorably intertwined, bringing light to each other.

The casting and acting are truly at the service of the film, and it's easy to understand why 48 minutes seems too short.

...will we be lucky enough to see the series produced?

Perfect balance

A gentle, melancholic rhythm portrays the contradictions and prejudices that bind the three characters. It shows how the expectations of adults, and then of society, lead them to walk a tightrope between love, friendship, silence, and the desire to break free from these constraints.

The balance between the three characters is perfect, and the film is perfectly in tune with its time and its changes.

A must-see!

Many good aspects but so many inconsistencies

All in all the drama is cute. The casting fits in. I am very happy that we have a drama with one of the character being deaf which allows to see a little of the themes of disability and exclusion addressed.
Though I can't sign the eactor are apparently really using sign language and their use of it seem very natural and fluent.
That is certainly something we can praise them for.

Meanwhile ...

I am very sad about all the inconsistency all over the episodes.
Let alone the usual cliché of 'the poor lead 1' having the 'wealthy lead 2' falling in love with him.
I am always happy to see more originals or realistic scenarios but I made my peaece with the above over used cliché. It tells something about our societies actually ...

Anyway, not mentioning the above mentioned (ah ! ) worned out cliché.
We don't really get the whys in most of characters behaviour and let alone the unlikely situation.
- Let's get started with how many times the 2 leads meet each other just "by luck" ... in just the first episode. Let's pretend it's okay and it shows how much theye were destined to meet.
- Why the mother sometimes decide to cosplay in horror movie character ? We never get to have an explanation for the random act ... it's probably supposed to add some 'comedy' ... not smooth id that's the only purpose ... not better if it's a free easy way for scenaristic situations.
- Why Jonathan bring back home his one night stand (dubcon one night stand by the way. If you sleep with someone that drunk ... he probably wasn't consciously agreeing to sex) so ... why does he bring back home a one night stand that he met again trying to kill his boss and the reason ... let's say it's because he was hurt in the fight (a scratch on his nose ... nothing worrysome) and then he has to live with them until his scratch is healed ... It's a scratch !!!! that doesn't require a 24/7 monitoring !
- Why the big brother has so many mood swings between love and violence ? we don't know !
- The cliché of the bad girls deciding to separate the male leads ... please ... if you wanna use the cliché make it believable.

And there are so many things ... the worst being. Beside the fact that the 2 male leads always fall (ALWAYS) with their faces 2cm apart. I never felt like they were falling in love. Then suddenly they go to bed (explainable kind of) and hug each other ... I was really feeling like it was out of the blue. FOr what I knew lead 1 had rejected lead 2 but ... whatever.
And we gotta ask the leads to check if they don't have some inner ears issues. It's not possible to lose balance all the time this way.

So ... conclusion. It's not bad. It's cute. We can really applaud characters for signing so well ... but the scenario is very poorly put together.

What happened

What happened ?

Their was a good cast with good potential ... but what with that scenario that want to play between serious and comedy but doesn't balance it properly ? It's hard to follow what the characters are thinking as their attitude is changing so quickly and without proper reasons.

I can't blame the actor beecause the scenario is like this that nothing is logical it probably doesn't help to get into a character whose behaviour is ungrounded. And what with the ridiculous "Dracul" character ... this is plain grotesque. In what world are ALL the protagonist living that being surrounded by vampire they never questionned someone with that name and that is NOT a spoiler as anyone can see it coming ...

The music isn't great so not helping there.
And what with the rose garden ... it's not the main point here but couldn't they make it slightly pretty ? I felt nauseous at that mall type of cheap untasteful garden each time ... how is that supposed to be romantic or touching in any way.

Yes ... Boun and Prem are lovely and lot of the cast has all my sympathy ... therefor I feel sorry for them.

What happened ?

We reached the limits of Thai drama's casting

The plot line seemed ... not that great to start with.
You have the usual histerical girls because ... girls have to be ?

But mostly this is when you reach the 'let's put famous actors' type of cast limit.

You end up with actors and actress ranging from 20 to 30 yo. They play 6 yo teenagers and then 30 yo old grown up and all in all it ends up that nothing seems right and nothing is credible the least.

I guess the number of big names and the lack of care if they would be the right choice for the characters is supposed to make up for the poor plot.

If you're brave and happy with seeing faces it might be your jam though. As much as I like many of the people there it was too much to ask out of me. I need the story to be slightly consistent
