Xu Kai is 3 years younger than Gong Jun, but his pairing with Yang Mi in She and Her Perfect Husband was a joy to watch. May it's because she was a sort-of mother figure in this drama that made it feel icky.

I'm working my way through GJ's filmography and came across this drama. Maybe I'll give it a handful of episodes before committing more time.

I love his slight underbite. Very attractive.

Yoi must not have watched that many episodes of Falling Into Your Smile, As Beautiful as You, or Best Choice Ever. If you did, you'd see how well-rounded Xu Kai's characters are.

If you've watched ANY episodes of Arsenal Military Academy, Wonderland of Love, Once Upon a Time in Lingjian Mountain, Sword and Fairy or Dance of the Sky Empire, you'd know Xu Kai has real range.

Xu Kai's been filming with the "other" male lead, the female "lead," his sister, and some bad guys. I'm going to be optimistic and say that our favorite actor will be a major player with significant screentime involving a variety of plot points. 🙏

Without writing an essay in response, you don't know the connections some of these fans have. It's more than buying copies of scripts online.

Maybe someone else can explain more clearly than I can.

Please stop misinterpreting what I posted.

Some fans have access to scripts and script revisions. If I recall correctly, there was a possibility that a third male lead was going to be added. Fans let their concerns be known. Now it looks like that role was revised for a female lead.

Xu Kai isn't protected by his agency or capitol so fans step in, rightly or wrongly. They are not telling Xu Kai what he should or shouldn't do.

Okay. I thought it might have been part of larger performance that I somehow missed.

I don't understand what he's saying, but his voice and the visuals are striking.

I guess being a popular singer makes you a cuter actor. 🤭 smh
