I always recommend Once Upon a Time in Lingjian Mountain. It was my first exposure to Xu Kai. So much fun and there's a bit of that early Gu Yanzhen vibe. (Lingjian and Arsenal came out the same year.)

Xu Kai has withstood the storm and now should be able to negotiate a better deal or leave.

My guess is he'll have significantly more screentime in Strange Tales than he did in Moonlit and probably more than in A Cup of Love, which demonstrates his power.

This one tweet has stirred up so much shi!. The Esther Yu fans came after Xu Kai hard. One of her fans posted questionable/photoshopped pics of Xu Kai and said some pretty savage stuff. These tweets have been reposted by her other diehards. Unfortunately, the tweets have been viewed by the thousands.

This one stupid tweet really showed me how nasty some of her fans are.

I think he'll share the screen with Miles Wei. There doesn't appear to be multiple SMLs to divert from the main story and pull significant screentime from Xu Kai and Miles. I prefer to be positive at this point.

Xu Kai's been filming for 26 days straight on the set of Strange Tales of Tiandu. Lots of locations, lots of costumes, lots of action.

I don't know exactly what combination of factors caused it, but it looks like Xu Kai will have more screentime in 5 episodes of this drama than he did in the entirety of Moonlit Reunion (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, slightly) .

I think fan pressure played a part. Maybe it's a way to demonstrate the support he has in the industry. Maybe Xu Kai used this as a bargaining tactic. Whatever the reason(s), I'm am so excited to see this drama next year/early 2027.

Just stopped by to "present" He Feng Tian with some flowers. I've enjoyed his performances in his many roles opposite Xu Kai. He brings a unique energy to each one, including being a backstabbing pr!ck in Royal Feast. That scene with the tea was absolutely heartbreaking. Kudos!

He Nan is part of the cast of Tian Du Yi Wen Lu, or Strange Tales of Tiandu, which is filming now. I believe she plays Xu Kai's sister.

I don't know why MDL hasn't added her to that page.

Why does she "need" to be boycotted? Any proof, or is it all just black marketing? After what Xu Kai went through, I'm loathe to believe any rumors or gossip.
