I actually have been busy with college and I haven’t been catching up with the drama but hopefully I’ll catch…
Wait, i thought Ju-ryun is the villain in the drama, just like her mother and father? I am still at episode 30 though.

no, Su Yeon was at the hospital, she wasn't adopted, that is not a plothole
the adoptive parents never intended to adopt su-yeon. su-yeon was almost adopted by a different couple (although not explicitly shown) just before the fire happened. if you recall, on the 1st/2nd episode, it was never shown who were the couple who wanted to adopt su-yeon.

later then sun-hui was adopted by her adoptive parents, who had lost their son due to sun-hui's biological dad. the adoptive parents (especially the mom) specifically targeted sun-hui to be adopted and asked su-yeon to befriend her.

i know it's a bit confusing because it's not shown in chronological order. this is what happened based on the chronological order:

- sun-hui lived with her biological dad, hyun-min.
- hyun-min used sun-hui to get close to jin-hyuk (previously also named hyun-min)'s family (jin-hyuk, eun-joo, sang-ho) with ulterior motives.
- sun-hui got close with sang-ho and his parents, they adored her.
- hyun-min tried to kill sang-ho and sun-hui by setting his office on fire. sang-ho managed to save sun-hui so she survived, but sang-ho himself didn't survive and died.
- hyun-min was sent to prison, sun-hui lived with her grandmother
- sun-hui's grandmother died, so sun-hui was sent to the orphanage
- eun-joo, still mourning the loss of her son (sang-ho), visited the orphanage often to see sun-hui from afar. she cared about sun-hui despite the fact that she's the daughter of the person who killed her son.
- she saw that sun-hui was always alone and lonely. su-yeon noticed that eun-joo kept on coming to the orphanage. eun-joo asked su-yeon to befriend sun-hui so she wouldn't feel so lonely.
- suyeon became best friend with sun-hui.
- suyeon was about to be adopted by a couple (another couple, not jin-hyuk and eun-joo). she gave the matches as goodbye present to sun-hui.
- sun-hui accidentally created a fire using the matches. su-yeon got injured, and her adoption was cancelled.
- eventually, eun-joo and ji-hyuk decided to adopt sun-hui, and raised her.
- su-yeon was jealous and angry since sun-hui was the reason why she was injured and didn't get adopted.

Are you referring to the restaurant scene when their colleagues came for team dinner and Suji had to hide in the container? :)

It seems that the writer was somewhat pressured to extend and add the additional 8 episodes, resulting in a quality drop in the script-writing for the last 8 episodes.

- Na-young suddenly agree with the divorce and even doesn't want alimony, as long as she can keep the baby? Really? All this while, she was always eyeing the Hans' wealth, the Hadeul hospital and foundation.

- Suji was assigned to treat Nayoung's depression? It would be better for the treatment to be done by a neutral and external psychiatrist. Even Uri should not treat her. If there are no other psychiatrists other than the two in the hospital, send her to another hospital.

- Suji goes the extra mile to help Nayoung, after what she did to her? In a fairly recent episode (may be around ep100-110?), I still remember Suji stood firm and told Nayoung that she didn't want to have anything to do with her anymore. Why now suddenly Suji want to care for her?

Nevertheless, I will still continue watching to see how it ends and how all things are being concluded.

There were some connections between the past and present:- Young Bomin and older Bomin- Young Giho and older Giho-…
If the past story was removed, there will be no Gi-ho using the sniper rifle to kill Hyang-cheol. Thus, there will be no sniper rifle Jae-sik can use to kill Seong-a.

The rifle used by Gi-ho to kill Hyang-cheol is the exact same rifle used by Jae-sik to kill Seong-a. In other words, both serial killers from the two different timelines are being killed by the same rifle.

Honest Advice Needed: I put this drama on hold at Ep 8 (after the FL's reason is revealed)It was going so well…
yes it is worth watching. the reason for watching might be different for everyone, but for me, I watch because of Mo-eum and her relationships with Yeon-du and Dan-ho.

Finally, have completed all the episodes. What a great and thrilling drama.

I would have to agree that the drama starts a bit slow and confusing with the two different serial killers in two different timelines. But it gets better in the next episodes with the last 3 episodes (6 to 8) being the best.

A must-watch for thriller seekers. :)

Looking at it, I wonder what I would have done if I were Kim Yun-seok... I think I would have fallen for Go Min-si's…
Fallen for Go Min-si's charm and ended up being killed by her? Just like the police officer which the body was found at the cornfield? No thanks. LOL.

7/10I hated the old man more than that gorgeous crazy girl.. I really couldn’t understand his stupid actions…
Bo-min told Jae-sik (Si-hyeon's dad) that they found the body. It is implied that Si-hyeon (the boy) 's body was also found at the corn field, together with the police officer (Seon-Tae)'s body. But I am not too sure myself.

I was so excited for this drama. Specially for Go Min Si to play a psychopathic killer and boy did she not disappoint.…
There were some connections between the past and present:

- Young Bomin and older Bomin
- Young Giho and older Giho
- Yeong-ha met old Sang-jun at the nursing home
- Yeong-ha met older Giho at his place (when he planned to shoot Hyang-cheol).

but he kind of did asked for police help to find his daughter before going back to the house
Have finished watching. He met Bomin along the way, that's why they came up to trap Seong-a. If Bomin didn't intercept him, he might proceed to settle on his own hands.

I am at episode 7 now. I don't understand why ahjussi Yeong-ha didn't get any police help after sending his ahjussi friend Yong-chae to the hospital. Because Seong-ah still have the ahjussi's daughter Ui-seon with her?

I don't understand why he would still try to fix the issue on his own. And what happened to Gi-ho after the ahjussi saved him from killing himself? Did he get the gun from Gi-ho? Why Gi-ho didn't go out and help him?

Sadly, I have an uneasy feeling that NY will get a redemption arc. The reason the Writer makes NY gets postpartum…
I got a hunch that you are right, Nexe. From the way how the writer makes Suji to have sympathy on her in the last two episodes (despiteNa-young tried to destroy her in the last 100 episodes), and for the Na-young character to seem to have post-partum depression, there might be a redemption arc coming her way.

I hope we were wrong.

Yeah, the Ara's character was written to have a very big heart, and more mature than her age. Hands down one of the best characters in the drama.

True, she told Ara that she would accept the money but it was not shown that she really took the money that Ara put in front of there.

So it was implied that she took them, noted. So selfish! Aaarrrgh...
