I am with you on this. When I saw Jae-hui cry, I cried. I know this is only a drama but in real life, witnessing your own dad having an affair with another woman will be too much for a 12-year-old girl. Very heartbreaking to see Jae-hui have to go through all of those.

Again, I know this is only a drama but gosh, why I am so immersed in it?

She was still very small in Pachinko, yeah she needed to witness the violence during the colonial suppression. Her scene of "holding on not to cry" while watching one of the "uncles" being tortured by the soldiers is amazing.

I think it's just the way he acts. Coincidentally at the same time I'm watching Hotel Del Luna now (yes I'm 5 years late) and his acting is similar. I think it's just his personality.

Korean production teams usually have psychiatric consultation service ready for child actors having to do traumatic or dark roles (e.g. related to murder, sexual abuse, violence etc).

And Yuna is not new to dark/challenging roles, in her earlier drama she portrayed a little girl being abused by her dad (for brain experiment), being kidnapped for ransom (although the kidnapping went wrong), and being hunted by gangsters (who are her dad's investors).

yes, it's common if it's a full door and locked, you can safely do anything even fully naked if you want!

I am pretty confident that Jang Nara will bag the Best Actress award at the SBS Drama Awards end of this year. And Yuna might also get the Best Child Actress award at the same event (I think she's still young enough for that category).

That's the problem, are we sure Jae-hui will choose her mom?

Oh, and I am glad that Yuna has more screen time in this episode. Love her acting very much.

When Jae-hui cried, I cried. I have said this in my previous comments and will say it again. Children are always the biggest victims of divorce cases.

And I really despise the dad and the mistress. Having sex acts with the mistress while his 12-year-old daughter is (supposedly) sleeping in the next room? And the mistress deliberately put her baby's photo scan in the daughter's drawer? Insane!

I stopped watching in episode 28. That was when Woo Jin remembered his past as Jin Ho with Seol Ah (after the dropped lighting accident) but decided to pretend that he didn't remember. I was annoyed with his decision lol.

So shall I continue watching?

I have been dating someone for 3 years and suddenly my boyfriend has a little daughter who is not mine. I feel guilty for aborting my own baby in the past and I want to make it up by continuing to be by my boyfriend's side and try to be a good mother for the daughter. His daughter is so lovable and adorable, and I can get along with her. I really want to be a good mother to his daughter.

But I still feel like I am an "outsider" since both of them have blood relations while I don't. It seems that my boyfriend also put more effort into caring for the daughter now and I felt a bit "neglected", although I understand that he needs to make such an effort for him to be closer to his daughter. I think the missing child flyer shows 4-year-old Hyun-woo, while Sun Young only met Hyun-woo (and his mom) when he was 9 years old. So even if the photo was shown, Sun Young might not recognize him.

MR already had HW when she married JT. I think what Beetslover meant is that MR might have relationship with JT before they get married, and HW was born.

But yeah I think it's unlikely to be the case.
