Watching episode 4 now. I didn't know if Shim Ji-Yoo was also in this drama! That means together with Eun Seo, the two child actresses from Perfect Family are in this drama as well, yay! So delighted to see them, they are really cute and talented!
Have watched episode 9. Love it, although episode 8 was still the best episode in my opinion. But it's here on episode 9 when Jang Nara really gives her all in her acting performance.
I cheered when Jisang dumped Sara. He's furious because Sara told Jae-hui about her pregnancy. He even challenged her to prove if the baby was really his. What an irresponsible dad, but yet I don't feel pity for Sara.
Another scene I love is when Eun-kyung picks up her daughter from school and meets some of her friends. Jae-hui looked very happy and proud to introduce her mom to her friends. So heartwarming.
I was also surprised to see Sara decide to come to Eun-kyung's office to apologise. I thought she felt "insecure" after being dumped by Jisang, and wanted to maintain a good relationship with Eun-kyung and eventually Jisang for the sake of her child. But ended up it's because Yuri advised her to do so.
Last but not least, my favourite scene is the lovely and heartwarming mother-daughter interaction when they do cooking together. Seeing Eun-kyung and Jae-hui hug each other, and open up to their feelings and emotions, made me cry.
Halfway mark drama checkpoint.I know a lot of people turned away from this because of a cheating spouse plot.…
"By Ep8, you'll have some emotional attachment to the characters."
This is spot on. I am really immersed in the drama up to the point that I want to slap Sara and hug Jae-hui.
I found the Yuri-EunHo relationship is a bit forced with the sudden out of nowhere one night stand that happened in one of the earlier episodes. Right now we can see their relationship is a bit back on the track but it may not be enough to fix the damage done.
My heart just broke for little JH who is trying so hard to protect her mom. SR is such an evil witch who targeted…
I am with you on this. When I saw Jae-hui cry, I cried. I know this is only a drama but in real life, witnessing your own dad having an affair with another woman will be too much for a 12-year-old girl. Very heartbreaking to see Jae-hui have to go through all of those.
Again, I know this is only a drama but gosh, why I am so immersed in it?
I hope EK doesn't catch a case though because she had murder in her eyes banging on her door.
This -- I am really worried about what would happen to Sara or her baby due to EK's raging attack. But the preview doesn't imply anything serious so I hope everything will be fine.
EK's eyes when she was raging, OMG. Jang Nara -- the actress that you are!!!
Korean production teams usually have psychiatric consultation service ready for child actors having to do traumatic…
She was still very small in Pachinko, yeah she needed to witness the violence during the colonial suppression. Her scene of "holding on not to cry" while watching one of the "uncles" being tortured by the soldiers is amazing.
I'm curious what you guys think about PO's acting..?
I think it's just the way he acts. Coincidentally at the same time I'm watching Hotel Del Luna now (yes I'm 5 years late) and his acting is similar. I think it's just his personality.
Korean child actors are the real MVPs in K Dramas (and movies.) They have the most challenging roles usually related…

And Yuna is not new to dark/challenging roles, in her earlier drama she portrayed a little girl being abused by her dad (for brain experiment), being kidnapped for ransom (although the kidnapping went wrong), and being hunted by gangsters (who are her dad's investors).
Also, the scene when Ara finds out about the continued relationship between Do-young and Doo-ri is cute and funny, LOL.
Is it normal in Korea for a girl to propose to a man? I thought usually it's the men who propose to the girls.
Both of them are phenomenal!
Natsu = summer
Umi = sea
I am bawling again watching the scene when Umi came to Natsu's apartment by herself.
Umi shows Natsu a video on her mom's phone showing Mizuki saying that she likes summer (Natsu) the most.
And then Natsu shows Umi the video again showing Mizuki at the beach and saying that she likes the sea (Umi) the most.
Beautiful.

yes, it's common if it's a full door and locked, you can safely do anything even fully naked if you want!
gosh, how I am still mad at both of them, hours after watching the drama! poor little girl.
