Oh dear friends: we have about 300 comments to go to get to 20K! Let’s try to make it in the next three days as after Till the end of the moon starts, nobody will give attention to this Thanks a lot!
It just hit me on my way to work(For me) the most iconic moment of the whole show is (see spoiler)
Right at the end of episode 30, when they leave the heavenly palace and he falls to his knees at the gate. “Was I handsome?”
That sentence was the embodiment / manifestation of him considering her his equal all the way, and that in a Xanxia!
Unlike other male leads , who are always omnipotent and them falling in love with the fairly weak (or anyway weaker at first) fairy is followed by keeping alive some kind of unequal power relation between them as couple, whereby he is always the strongest. The single one I can think of being a bit close to our YQ is DFQC - who dared to be seen at his weakest - but even the latter needed to swap souls with the female partner to manifest “we are one and equal”. Not our SDYQ. It just hit me how definitive his parting from the heavenly realm was and how consistent he was in that choice until the very end.
Now I can place my unheimlich feeling when they all were as group in the Beast Realm in the common house and how I felt, what the heck YQ, you are the strongest in the group (at tha moment still) but you are standing around in the group like their full equal (to all of them) and I was like, do something. Extra. But you were her equal / their equal.
I'm gonna watch Til the End of the Moon starting Thursday to see if it helps me with the slump TSL left me with.…
Yea hope seeing you all and reading you in that comment section. I’ll be less chatty as I find that space rather fierce (took a peak yesterday and wow!) Will enjoy silently your inputs, lovely crew! That story seems to have a different tone altogether. And will not compare the mail L to our dear SdYQ , as no one compares to him 🥰.
1) More of YT’s upbringing was revealed. We’re you shocked by any of the revelations?2) Wudai, Dinyung, Chaofeng-…
1. Well she was totally underprivileged. What I liked a lot is that YQ thought he is punishing her by sending her to school, and how that was in fact one of her dreams! Brilliant. Also, Husui and the bad Fairy are introduced. Little did we know then which huge impact both will have to the happenings later in the story! 2. It was already clear that CF is the one with the steepest development, meaning for me the other two were like - the necessary evil around :). Wud must choose between Wudai and DY, I liked W more. DY was totally put on the wrong track by his mother.
1. QK made the decision for the sisters to stay where they were. Thoughts on her decision?2. How are tot feeling…
QK was already in love with CF but Yetan was still in the modus to save her. I don’t know if she (QK) was open about the reason to stay where they were, but eventually it turned out well. Interesting to me how YT didn’t give so much attention to the love bridge, and what it really meant, that she passed it with YQ. CF was still cunning and I still didn’t know if he will become honest (or when) . As for the heavenly realm, how yetan tried to use the three masters, and the reactions of YQ to that, was priceless. Plus don’t forget the beginning of episode 5: YQ took the punishment of five thunder slashes for her, he was already hers, he just didn’t realize it yet.
I still stay strong in this one here. Raised another kind of bar.
Love and peace.
Thanks a lot!
Keep going back to the fan fiction pieces ….🙈🙊
2. Jianmu fruit! That’s what HE thought!
3. The hair exploding was brilliant and so unexpected
4. Yes fave scene. How she added a little spice by adding the birdies, that’s our Yetan! And Youqin thought the same!
5. Meh. I know he is popular with people but the single thing I cared for was to see him understand YT is another calibre and not for him.
6. Didn’t like that he stays deceitful

Just my take. Peace and love.
