Thank you for your comment. Most of these actors are very young people (he is only 25 now), often with no background of drama school, like our ML here. He came from the idol producing factory SM Entertainment? I can’t imagine the pressure these youngsters are under, to perform premium all the time, under the scrutiny of very critical viewers. Meaning, in all honesty (and again, just my personal opinion, no offence meant) am I looking for that premium acting in these series? Nope; for that I’ll be watching something else. For now, again my personal opinion, what I am reading from the story and the way it is performed , it is what I wrote above :). Peace again.
Having seen such a mixed feeling about the drama in this forum made me go back to some of the earlier work of the ML, also to recall why did I like him a lot some time ago. And I remember now: he is not bad at all, he is playing the roles he gets, and his performance is very much dependent of the FL he gets. Like this, he was (just according to me, peace and love :), very good in the eternal love series, in You are my destiny (with same lady), in the one with Bai Lu (will never forget the explosion of emotions and kiss in the hallways in front tot the bathrooms in the bar), and with the lady vampire. Which makes me think wether the FL is casted well enough here. The ML is playing what he is: some high level guy with a million heavy duty secrets , introvert and secretive, and protective of his loved ones up to becoming altruistic and have her rather leave him and stay safe, than being together in mortal danger.
The SML plays also what he needs to be in this show: an infatuated goodie deep down, who can’t let go, does stupid things that are very human, had a tacit and then explicit understanding with the ML with their common aim being keeping that lovely woman and the child of the ML (because he knows it is not his) safe and sound.
I like the drama a lot, yesterday I even had a “dream of splendour” feel moment. Just my take, peace.
Would be interested to hear how is it doing in China.

The siblings didn’t grow up together. They were separated 17 yes ago in the story. And he knew from moment 1 that this one is not his sister. So no problem at all.
Super cool story. Could find a fault in it, here too on all time favorites list, and totally unexpected, right? Beautiful actors, lovable characters Healthy relationships, Real kisses!
