Watched to ep14 and enjoyed every minute of it. Even had an unexpected turn of events moment. Looking forward seeing more of them. And must say, the scriptwriter is good, as in mere 6 minutes or so per episode, everything is so well rounded up. Kudos.

Well, he has lots of stupid or weak people around him. Old Lin, Gao (both giving away way too much information) and his sister, oh my god, I don’t have words about the level of gullibility of that person! Meaning, he just has to sit back and do nothing, as others make sure he gets in problems. He is actually dealing with integrity and with spine with all that comes towards him.

I don’t think Li Xun ever treated Gao as a friend, he saw him as a classmate. Li Xun is way above everyone regarding skills and competencies on the subject. Gao is the single one who thinks can compete with him, whilst for Li X there is no competition to begin with. The frustration of GAO is very human behavior, as he thinks he is on the same par with LX. Painful, but Li Xun is not to blame. Neither is GAO.
