they don't really show them doing the deed in cdramas, they have to blur it out cos of censorship
I thought they will cut out the ballet scene but then saw the poster. Also, few dialogues in that scene is provocative like don't pull it, you will tear it. I died laughing at that. I really thought it would be censored.
The scene he waited outside the hotel in the light snow, with his hood on. Then he attempted a little ballet dance…
That scene just makes me emotional realizing how protective he was for her that he was willing to stay outside while it was snowing not knowing what his girl had to go through soon:(
The scene where he was sitting down on that balcony looking down on her all proud and smiley and fondly when she…
It took me a while to realize which scene you were referring to. I watched it in reuter but it turned out so beautiful. It showed how mesmerized he was with her. The aesthetics in that scene was particularly beautiful<3
the scene where sangyan drew a butterfly on her scar π
That was mesmerizing and showed us how SY is so emotionally intelligent. He didn't knew the reason or anything, he just comforted her with that and the way she smiled afterwards<3
wow!! such strong ratings despite the flaws in the storywriting. the ratings would have been off the roof if the…
The way story of Main leads was delivered was beautiful. It has flaws but the way it shows us how love really should be, unconditional, pure, genuine and heartfelt tugs at our heartstrings. The last 4 episodes were truly amazing after the crying session in those 3 episodes. Rarely we have dramas which ends so beautifully giving us so many heartfelt moments at last<3
There is so much negativity again. So lets just talk about something positive. What are your fav high school scenes of SY and WYF?
My favorite will be the iconic bus scene. The shy smiles, the way he was desperately looking outside for her, the way he slowly closed the distance between them before she slides and let him sit beside her and above all, the song that was playing was chef's kiss.
I know. I am unable to pick up anything. I am unable to rewatch it because of how clearly I remember each and every dialogue. I don't even need subtitles sometimes. I usually avoid watching ongoing dramas and prefer binge watching which helps in not getting too attached to it. First frost was really different. Reading novel, manhwa, casting news and then getting back when the Mayday video released and waiting each day, cursing Youku for postponing it and finally the distribution license made me so happy. I remember how everyone on X used to curse youku for releasing the same content from different angle but once they started, they gave us so many content. It was such a beautiful journey for about a month and finally it ended:(
This is something I really crave. The way these both characters made their home inside my heart, I don't think it happened to me before. This type of drama rarely comes in Cent. Romance might be the main genre, but it really was like rollercoaster ride of emotions with them. Not just the chemistry, but the way it transcends from School days to present time, it just pull at your heart strings. Wishing SY and WYF a happily ever after and for me to move on from them:(
I have finally completed writing a review for this drama. It took me 5 days because the ending just left me speechless.…
It was amazing<3 It feels like it will take me an year or two to move on from this drama because we won't get such beautifully crafted love story having the right amount of pain, longing and love. I miss watching them so much:(
Am I the only one who has a problem with the way Sang Yan treats Yi Fan? Especially with the sleep walking and…
I don't think it was a plot device because it didn't affected their relationship in any way. The sleepwalking was plot device for sure because it made him worry for her, do things for her. He avoided telling her that he is doing things for her because he didn't knew how she will react. He had once been at the receiving end of the rudeness, so he don't want to be there again.
When she sleepwalks, he is awake, guiding her so that she don't end up hurting herself. She was found sleeping in his room only once with him.
You can't expect SY to be like He Suye because he is not. Whatever clips I came across, He Suye seems soft but SY is cold at face, soft at heart. He is not exactly rude towards WYF, instead he tries to act cold or nonchalant, mostly loosing by the end. He met her after 6 years, do you expect him to wear his heart on his sleeves and had it broken again. It is his right to protect his feelings. Being vulnerable about his feelings towards her, when she didn't even hinted at liking him will keep him at the receiving end. It is like once bitten, twice shy. He has certain grudge too, because she broke the promise and he never got a closure from her.

SY being a douche is not a plot device. He is cold towards her but secretly cares for her. He had once done everything he could and his heart was broken so if he wants to protect his heart this time, he is not wrong. He can't just shut off his feelings as he want because that is not in his control.
SY never tried to take advantage of her sleeping form. He can't just hold her and push her into the room because that will affect adversely. He watches what she is doing and when she tries getting into his room or something, he tries to shoo her away, without initiating any physical contact. He was really not aware about her sleeping beside him. It was only when he woke up that he realized she was on the bed with him. He even slept on the couch so that if she sleepwalks into his room, she can sleep there. He genuinely loves her. She once called him a bother so now, he is careful.
I haven't watched TBT but both the stories are completely different. The MLs in TBT don't have a shared past while in TFF, they were almost in a relationship because they were kind of best friends in past and had feelings for each other. SY and He Suye are two different person, had two different lives so their choices differ in their love life.
I'm really not enjoying it, i don't know if its the slow burn or , the FL or ZRN's portrayal of Yi Fan. She's…
ZRN was literal perfection as WYF. Don't think I am her fan or something because I am not. I even doubted that will she be able to convey a character like WYF. WYF is a character with too many problems. She has no one so after going through what she did, she just suppressed all her emotions. She is emotionally unavailable but even in those moments, she do react to SY. I will recommend you to watch 6-8 episodes but if you still can't get the hold, drop it. Her problems are the major highlight of the drama and they are really genuine and heartbreaking.
This bgm is my fav too. It creates this somber environment with a hint of nostalgia. Gossshhh. I miss them π π
