I can't wait, but what is with the TVing subscription? It asks for your phone number. Does anyone knows how safe is this network? I never heard of them before today.

Ah, I'm at episode 46 and already check the ending, while searching the fate of one of the characters. I'm having very strong mixed feelings.

I didn't finish it yet. So far, it's a very mediocre mini drama. But the worst thing is the out of tune, a capella singing. It's really off putting, kills the mood completely. Singer must be director's daughter or relative to pushing her horrible singing, all the way through. And, yes the drama is mediocre through and through. I'm still watching because of the ML. That's all.

I had this drama rated with the thumb down for quite a while, on Netflix. But, the truth it’s I love both leads. So, I gave it a third try and waited for a few episodes. And then, magic happened again. It became interesting and enjoyable. Yes, this drama doesn’t have the most complex plot, super interesting characters, or an evident arc character development.
What this drama offers are feelings, the whole spectrum from anguish, frustration, betrayal, friendship, brotherhood, visceral hate, and of course love.
We all know the acting skills of the male lead, his range is so wide, he can be the most jealous, goofy, serious, mysterious, passionate, etc., And all his facets are believable, his eyes can convey so many feelings genuinely.
The interesting thing is the female lead, Shin Sae Kyeng. I saw her first in “When a man’s in love” and I disliked her acting skills and her big open staring eyes when she had to portray surprise. It took me to watch several of her dramas to start to enjoy her. I watched all of them, but two. And, slowly we could see her hard work in trying to get better at acting. So, her evolving arc wasn’t in a character but as an actress. She grew so much, it is admirable. Is she the best actress out there?, by any means definitely no. But, she is working very hard towards that. She didn’t lay down on her beauty, not at all, she was trying to get better and it’s obvious. Her kissing scenes used to be very lame, lacking any emotion. She got better at that too.
So, if you’re hesitant to watch this drama because of her, I encourage you to give it a sincere try and you may enjoy it, like I did.
The second male lead, I loved him dearly on “Just one bite” and he grew so much since then.
There are several supporting actors that guarantee this drama has lots of potential.
Kang Hong Suck, always plays the big teddy bear, even when he is a bit more serious here.
Yang Kyung Won, his role is one of the most interesting. I could only chuckle when I saw him playing the most vile and cowardly character.
And of course, Jo Sung Ha, Son Hyun Joo, Uhm Hyo Sub as seasoned supporting actors. And we won’t forget to mention the super handsome Na Hyun Woo that shamelessly stole our hearts.

Oh no! As a seasoned Asian dramas fan/spectator, I made a huge mistake of start watching this, instead of waiting until it ends. I was gonna watch just the first episode, and Bam! I got hooked up bad! Lol Guilty! Now, the agony of waiting! This comedy has to be one of the most hilarious since a long time. 😊

“ Although her family members took sometime to come around to her way of thinking when they finally did the family became unstoppable. I have seen a lot of horrible emperors in CDramas but this one does take the cake because he was horrible for no reason other than he was d emperor.” We shouldn’t spoil the fun.

The story line was pretty good.
The emperor was the most ruthless, heartless, and vicious out there. He couldn’t tolerate any criticism and whoever confronted him with true words, stating facts, he'd destroy them. The main couple was good, they had a very nice chemistry. The catastrophe of having their males exiled to the north didn’t leave the family too much room to bickering and quarrelsome, just a little bit. Each episode was a different situation. A very fast-paced drama, where nothing was dragging. The female lead had Midas's touch converting everything she touched into gold. Wow! This drama has plenty of villains and good hearted characters, Family is the key to everything. Selflessness and righteousness were the biggest strengths of the FL besides her cleverness for doing business. But business isn’t her main dream. She was excellent at doing it because of the urgency to feed her family and rescue the exiled males. I love how outspoken she was. How she followed her grandfather's teachings and integrity. I truly loved how she defended herself from adversity. How everything she did was purely her own and family effort. Without depending on a man to solve her family financial problems for her. Now we can talk about women empowerment, now we can talk about a “strong female lead” tag and it reflects the truth. Not like other dramas that had the tag strong female lead and every single step that FL does is purely based in the aid of the male lead. This was a very good watch. The customs, make up, hair dos were excellent. I also loved the different settings, not just their own house/s, the palace, the Security Bureau building, the North house, the North place of work, the building of the channel, the different villains' houses and buildings, the different street markets, the ships, etc, etc, etc. I loved how everything was excellently well thought and made. This drama is a masterpiece to be rewatched over and over from now on, at least for me. This is a must watch.

Such a hidden gem. The FL is everything we -as spectators- wish for. She’s a strong, determined lady, she also can play the game. She isn’t a pushover, and I do value that a lot. She conquered everything with love. Hmm… so cute! I also loved her husband the ML. He did good. They both did good with such short time drama to showcase their acting abilities. Such an enjoyable play. There are some things that could had been better, yes definitely. One of those is the casual background music in certain scenes. Some were not in sync with what the ambience was. Some were quite ridiculous like westerns music, that didn’t fit this historical Chinese short drama. I know that budge-wise it may had been tight, that doesn’t allow to make those kind of mistakes. Because they broke the fantasy and corrupt the moment. They can have a tight budget but it needed a bit more of love and dedication from the makers. Overall it’s a very good short drama.
