shortly after, he notices blood on his clothes & realizes that she didn't serve the emperor but he was her first man (they both lost their virginity to each other) & that she truly loves him. he meets her again, confronts her, starts acting sweet & they make up like nothing happened.
I hated the part where he forced her (r@ped tbh) in the novel & I wish the drama's xiao duo doesn't do anything like that. I'm somewhat sure they won't include such scenes in the drama and hope the drama turns out way better.

He got triggered when he got to know that byl served the emperor in bed (not true, someone else took her place becuz byl has xiao duo in her heart). He got angry, humiliated her, and forced himself on her. She asks him to stop but he doesn’t listen cuz he wants her to feel the pain. Then, he finds out that she lost her virginity to him.
