I’m reading the novel and it doesn’t seem like it. Ning’er and ZZ reincarnated and Yan Lin gets his memories back through flash backs in his dreams but Xie Wei doesn’t. My man already has so much trauma, I just want him and Ning’er to be happy and together this life ❤️

It’s more like PTSD due to that trauma where he has episodes of anxiety, and violent outbursts esp when he sees blood and snow together ig. Only his qin seems to calm him down

I'm in the middle of reading the novel but got to know why Xie Wei called Jiang Xuening as Ning'er through the recent eps. it just warms my heart ❤️ he understood how she felt and decided to call her Ning'er as it only belongs to her. It was so cute that way she understood his intention and thanked him. They belong with each other, I can't wait for the ep when Ning'er falls for him, she already seems to be appreciating him. Can't wait to swoon over their romantic scenes ❤️

I'm tearing up. idk how some of you ship Ning'er with Zhang Zhe or Yan Lin when Xie Wei literally accepts all of her. Past or present, she's still his Ning'er 🥹

Yan Lin didn't understand that people change over time and Zhang Zhe is too upright and simple to accept Jiang Xuening while Xie Wei understands the complexity of human nature, although paranoid, he accepts Ning'er as she is ❤️

I like Yan Lin being sweet with the FL but im scared that he has the potential to be her r@pist. a good man wouldn't do that no matter what the circumstance is. FL cares for him bc she blames herself for everything and feels guilty. Yan Lin seems like the type of guy who would treat you like a princess only when you fit his expectations and image of you. that's why FL constantly mentions how she can grow/ change.

I read the novel for Only for Love and was obsessively waiting for the drama to air. The novels hype up my enthusiasm for the drama. Because of the censorship issues SOKP faced at the start, i was afraid it would be shelved for years so I didn't read the novel.

I'm not team Yan Lin bc he raped the FL in the novel for revenge after she betrayed him. by betrayal I mean, when Yan Lin went to Ning ning to ask her to wait for him to marry her (after he clears his family name/ the Yan family massacre), she turns him down bc she wanted to be the empress. She was greedy but no one deserves to be raped.

also, he's kind in the start but can't take a hint. FL treats him well bc he's a good childhood friend and she feels guilty for him. FL has said so many times about him being just a friend but he still talks about marrying her after the coming of age ceremony.
