I'm not team Yan Lin bc he raped the FL in the novel for revenge after she betrayed him. by betrayal I mean, when Yan Lin went to Ning ning to ask her to wait for him to marry her (after he clears his family name/ the Yan family massacre), she turns him down bc she wanted to be the empress. She was greedy but no one deserves to be raped.

I'm not sure if its a thing in this story but yea, there's reincarnation/ time travel in the actual story itself. 3) the one is wanted to trade her life with was the one she loved and deeply admired her past life, he didn't seem to reciprocate or help her much because she was supposedly evil and selfish in her past life.
